As you walk in our beautiful condo and view the luxurious interior and the fabulous ocean view, you know that you've reached your ultimate vacation destination. There is truly no reason to leave as you sit on the lanai, sipping your coffee or drinks and view the surfers out front, the turtles below and the whales and dolphins beyond.

Despite the relaxation and solitude, if you want sightseeing, shopping or adventure, you still have access to all that Big Island offers. Visit the volcano, stroll old town Kailua-Kona, take a parasail ride, go hiking or mountain biking, snorkeling and/or scuba, the opportunities are endless. We are centrally located and close to beautiful beaches and snorkeling areas.

Our oceanfront and beautifully remodeled condominium has everything you are looking for! Treat yourself to an oceanfront pool, master bedroom suite and lanai. Our home is gorgeously decorated with comfortable, wood laminate floors, large granite kitchen counters, and two bathrooms with travertine and tile walk in showers.

There is a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a king bed in the 2nd bedroom, and a convertible sofa that comfortably sleeps two. Ceiling fans in all rooms and a full size washer and dryer are also included.

There is also WiFi access for your laptop/tablet/phone, a flat screen TV, Blu-Ray DVD player with Pandora, Hulu, Netflix and 200+ high definition cable channels.

Paradise in Kailua Kona

#405 in the Banyon Tree complex (4 floors and about 20 units) has it all. Sunset views, surfer views, ocean breezes, the constant sound of the waves breaking on the rocks below you, an oceanside pool, easy reserved parking and a great location. Bob and Rhonda have thought of every detail and are a pleasure to deal with. The unit is very clean and well appointed. We can't wait to go back.

Condo 405 Banyan Tree Condo, Kona Never ceases to amaze

Have been coming to the Big Island for over 15 years. This oceanfront condo is centrally located on Ali'i Drive, is well appointed and operated by an attentive owner. Oh, ya, the sunset and view of the best surf spot on the Big Island are right outside your lanai.

Great Vacation Spot

We had a absolutely wonderful trip! Enjoyed everything from the restaurants in Kona, to the beaches north of the city and the snorkeling to the south. Great location, very clean and cozy accomodations, wonderful view of the ocean and surfers and a very pleasant experience communicating with the condo owner. Couldn't be any happier!

A delightful retreat in busy Kona

This breezy, comfortable, casually elegant apartment served us beautifully on a week's stay in Kona. Both the living room and the master bedroom open to the lanai so you are never far from the sound of the waves and a wide view of the sea. Apparently the big wave in front of the Banyon Tree is a classic surfing site, and it's fun to watch any time from dawn to dusk. The apartment is meticulously kept, and the hosts provide excellent snorkeling equipment and lots of toys for venturing out to nearby beaches. We go to Kona every year or two to visit family and hope to stay in this serene retreat again.

Comfortable and Convenient

Bob was friendly and easy to deal with. The condo was spotless and it's easy to see that the owners care about keeping it in tip-top shape. Bob and Ronda have thoughtfully provided all household wares as well as the beach equipment needed - evening a guidebook to the island! The location is superb - right on the shore overlooking Banyan's, a popular surf spot. The condo complex has a pool and hot tub. It's easy to get around from where the condo is located - not far from great beaches and snorkeling, and just a quick drive to Kailua. There is a small market across the street and delicious poke at Da Poke Shack just a few steps away. By and large, the evening trade winds cool things off nicely, however as a future upgrade, two or three wall-mounted ductless air conditioning units might merit consideration. Overall this is a great value and I would recommend it to others.

The air conditioned condos do cost $30-$50 more per night, so we're glad you recognize the value. We actually are considering adding air conditioning, but are concerned the extra cost/nt might impact more guests than the convenience of AC. We welcome any thoughts on the idea.

Another wonderful stay

Another wonderful vacation in this perfect condo.

All the amenities, a perfect location on the 4th floor for watching all the activities on the water. Couldn't ask for more. We plan on returning again and again. Bob and Rhonda are very accommodating and want their guests to have a great experience, and we always do.
