|Minimum Stay||5 nights|
Surrounded by all the peaceful romance that Maui offers, unit #103 is a ground floor, fully appointed oceanfront studio condo. Just a few feet from the beach. Perfect for a romantic escape or relaxing diversion from the daily grind.
Napili Bay is a classical crescent-shaped bay with a sandy beach, located at the far northwest corner of Maui. It is fully developed, in terms of having various kinds of lodging, basic shops, and rental business. Yet the bay is quite secluded and still preserved with the natural beauty and charm of a tropical beach. Unlike Lahaina old town (30 min) or Ka'anapali (20 min) to its south, Napili Bay is pristine Hawaii without a large tourist population or traffic, or any entrapment such as shopping mall, chain stores/eateries and big tour buses.

Condo was exactly as described... the view is amazing. Quiet, relaxing vacation on the beach. Bill was very easy to work with in booking. We recommend and will come back! Hopefully we can book 103 again.
We can't think how it can get much better. Our second time staying and it's clear the owner upgrades as he goes. Comfortable new bed and beautiful flooring , more than ample kitchen, wonderful shared Weber gas grills, binoculars to see whales spouting from your lanai, snorkeling and beach gear... all with an unmatchable view with natures playground just feet from your lanai. All kinds of things nearby, even a convenient farmers market.You'll enjoy from start to finish. Wonderful owner. The only bad thing is leaving.
My boyfriend and I loved staying here! For context, we are business professionals in our late 20's and early 30's from the east coast. My boyfriend had never tried VRBO before so was a bit skeptical initially, but he (and I) could not have been happier with our choice. The condo is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood; close to snorkel and surf shops, as well as some restaurants located right on the bay; and most importantly it is directly on the beach. Our favorite thing about this property is how you can hear the waves crashing all day/night. We found the bed very comfortable and the unit was the perfect size for us. Bill was also so kind to leave a gift basket with snacks and coffee! The unit does not have AC, but you won't need it - we were very comfortable. Bill also has games and guide books handy, as well as extra beach chairs, snorkel equipment, and body boards. I would be eager to stay here again, and will definitely recommend this unit to anyone I know traveling to Maui!
We had such a nice week at Napili Bay. Everything was exactly as described and we had everything we needed. The condo was perfectly located and exactly what you see in the pictures. Everything was of very good quality from the linens to the kitchen items. The bed was very comfy and the inside temp was fine once we opened all of the louvers to get the breeze flowing through.
We grilled out twice and my husband said the grills were high end Weber and worked perfectly. We used the Convection feature of the microwave/oven to bake potatoes and they turned out great. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed, including nice BBQ tools. The Napili Market was close by and the larger Safeway down near Lahaina. Plus there are plenty of places to eat.
Bill was very responsive beforehand and the welcome basket was really nice! We had stayed at the Napili Kai resort once so we knew we loved Napili Beach. Finding the condo was great and we will definitely be back as soon as we possibly can!
We had the best time. This was our first VRBO, and Bill made it so easy. We loved the unit, right on the beach! We fell asleep each night listening to the waves outside our windows. Daily we snorkeled and swam on the beach. We didn't need a thing everything was right there, snorkel gear, beach chairs, towels etc. There are restaurants within walking distance. This location was a dream come true! If you are going to Maui, you need to be on a beach! We would have loved to stay longer if our real lives where not demanding our return to the mainland. If we ever go back to Maui this is where we would stay! So glad we found it! Thanks Bill!
This was our first "hot holiday" as a couple after 23 years of marriage. We have three great teens who looked after our farm while we got to enjoy some much needed couple time. Understandably, I was very nervous spending money with this type of hoped-for break, given that I've never been to Hawaii and wasn't sure what to expect. We had looked over many types of vacations, starting with Mexico all-inclusives, and then ranging over the States and the Caribbean. It was hard to find something private and restful, without exorbitant price tags and the feeling that we were paying for a level of luxury that we didn't particularly need (i.e. lots and lots of alcohol).
Trying out a vrbo felt risky, but the reviews for Bill's place were so good and the views looked really beautiful. We gave it a shot, but with low expectations overall. However Bill answered questions so promptly and was so friendly from the get-go that I was somewhat hopeful that the place would be okay.
In fact, it was amazing. We got there at 4 am our time, obviously exhausted. There was a gift basket, the place was immaculate, there was a stocked kitchen and bathroom, and best of all, the view was exactly what we had seen online. The sound of the surf was unbelievable, given that we are from the Saskatchewan prairie.
We had the best, most relaxing week of our married life. It was wonderful watching the sun rise every morning from the lanai, and then the sunset as the children played in the waves. We took full advantage of the beach, thanks to the "toys" provided. Snorkelling was amazing. We felt like we lived in Maui, just because we were right on such a friendly, quiet, but lovely beach. The laundry worked well, there were lots of things to do when we actually did anything. The suite was really comfortable thanks to the fans and the large windows. The kitchen was really handy, but of course there are lots of places to eat out close by.
The only two glitches were that the change machine next to the laundry did not accept $1 bills or my $5 bills so we had to walk across the street to get change, and the last day the sink backed up. This was promptly attended to when I called the number provided, and we were told that the disposal unit can only handle very small scraps, as it was put in after the pipes, which were not really sized for large vegetable matter.
All in all, the vacation felt private, tropical, restful, and luxurious in all the ways we had hoped for.
No high-rises, two-story building limit on Napili Bay. Gated beach access.
