This cozy and charming condo within Savannah's Landmark Historic District is just steps away from historic Greene Square, among the antebellum homes, and beneath the Live oaks dripping with Spanish moss. The famed Pirate's House is a short walk away and just beyond is exciting River Street. There is no more convenient location.

The parade route for St. Patrick's Day celebration is a block away.

Enjoy home-away-from-home comforts for your visit to 'America's most beautiful city.' Situated on the first floor of an historic, circa 1915 brick building, you will enter the condo via a private entrance in front and may step outside the back door to a shared courtyard. One bedroom plus a queen-sized convertible sleeper sofa accommodates up to 4 guests. One full bath with tub and shower. High quality linens and towels provided. The kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets and is outfitted with amenities needed to prepare a large meal. The living room provides seating for a total of 6 (the table under the tv converts to seat four people and 2 at the coffee bar). There is a flat screen TV, Roku streaming player and netflix along with a bluetooth speaker system. High-speed WiFi is also included.

The condo is pet friendly. The fee is $25.00 per pet.

PARKING - There is both Metered Parking and FREE Parking! Parking is very easy at this location (considering you are in the hear of the city). There are meters right across the street and there is usually one or two spots open at all times. The meters are FREE on Saturday and Sunday and are enforced Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. If you go less than 1/2 of a block to Greene Square, Parking is free, as well as on the other side of our building. You may also pay for a visitors pass at the Welcome Center which allows you to park at meters and not have to pay.

EARLY CHECK-IN! Our standard check-in time is 3:00 p.m. Text when you get into town to see if you may check in early.

About Jennifer Restivo

My husband and I moved to Savannah in 2006 from Carmel, California. We traveled here in 2005 to 'meet the parents' before we married. When I saw the price of real estate for historic homes, the decision was instantly made to travel cross-country for a new adventure! Nearly nine years later we are still excited about our decision. I currently manage two long term rentals and two vacation rentals in the historic landmark district.

This space boasts 14 foot ceilings and is less than a 10 minute walk to River Street! It is airy, bright and recently updated. It's location combined with the price is next to none! Walk across the street to enjoy a meal at Cha Bella or grab a Conquistador sandwich at Zunzi's for a picnic in Greene Square.

What makes this condo unique

Location, location, location. Also, our rates are generally 1/3 to 1/2 of The Brice Hotel, which is two blocks away. For the price, this unit really goes above and beyond a typical hotel. Our beds are very comfy as well. The pull out bed comes with a 3' foam topper to put on top of the mattress to make it just as comfortable as a normal bed.

Charming and clean place

I booked this unit to take my parents to Savannah for their first time for my mother's Birthday and Mother's day last year. I had read reviews that the unit could be noisy due to location, so came prepared with ear plugs and didn't have an issue (other than my father's snoring!). The place was very clean and well appointed. Though small, I expected a cozy fit so I wasn't bothered by that. The location was perfect and I actually was able to find free parking nearby all weekend (though I had to move twice for street sweeping days - it was never an issue). We rode bikes or walked from historic downtown and never had to drive at all! I love this town, and this place was perfect! Will definitely consider staying here again if available for future Savannah trips!

Walk to Everything - Cozy and Clean Apartment

Check-in was a breeze and while street parking is not free - there is free street parking about half a block over. The place was as described - clean, comfortable and cozy. Also, a plus that it's pet friendly! All in all a great stay!

Great location

This is our second time renting a unit from Jennifer in this building. The location is awesome for the Music Festival, for touring the historic district, or making the drive over to Tybee. In walking distance to the major sights. Jennifer's State St. units are also very clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated for a great price. Don't rent this particular unit if you are easily bothered by nighttime street noise. Otherwise it's great for a couple.

Owner's Response: thank you for mentioning the street noise. Savannah is about 3/4 done with a large street project. After this is done, the street noise will reduce drastically. We also provide a strong ceiling fan and a smaller fan to plug in to help in reducing street noise.

Everything You Need and a Great Location!

Really enjoyed our stay at this VERY conveniently located condo. Parked the car on the street right outside the door and didn't need it again for the rest of our stay. The condo is just a few blocks away from the Pirate's House Restaurant (which I also recommend). There you will find a stop for the free DOT shuttle service that goes all around town if you don't want to walk.

All of the furnishings and fixtures in the condo are very nice and made for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Hope to visit again!

Wonderful vacation!

Jennifer's apartment was the perfect place for our stay in Savannah. Located within walking distance of all the action in the downtown area, this was a great find for our honeymoon trip. It is also 2 blocks from a bus stop that takes you anywhere in the downtown area for free. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, the kitchen stocked with every appliance and gadget we could possibly need, and as a nice touch the TV had a Roku device for those downtimes between activities to either play music or watch a show or movie. Check in and out couldn't have been easier, although parking could be a little interesting with the meters during the weekdays and the street cleaning once a week. But if you're careful with the street signs it isn't really a problem. Jennifer even went above and beyond when I needed to redirect a package to be mailed to Savannah, she had it delivered to her address and brought it to the apartment for us the next day.

Thank you very much for sharing your apartment with us! We were very happy there and will look it up again next time we're in town.

This review is regards to my experience with Jennifer

My Aunt and I did not get to stay at this property due to Matthew Hurricane. I’m not rating the property but my experience with Jennifer. Our vacation plan was to fly into Charleston, stay 3 days then drive to Savannah for a couple of days. Unfortunately, due to the hurricane we cancelled our trip. We heard there was some flooding, “down trees” etc. we did not want to take the risk of driving from Charleston to Savannah not knowing the conditions to and from and we wanted to see Charleston and Savannah in their beauty. I did not get the insurance offered, having said that, I don’t believe the insurance would have covered a natural disaster unless you pay extra and who could have predicted a hurricane. We were able to recover our money/credit from the airlines, other businesses/vendors etc. without question. Jennifer would not provide us with a credit for a future date, we received our damage deposit, cleaning fee, and taxes but we were not able to recover rental fee as Jennifer indicated “it’s a business.”

Our Lessons Learned from this experience: In the future we will stay at a nice hotel with no hassles, no insurance, extra fees, etc. if some unforeseen event happens we can cancel and get a 100% of our money back.

Owner's Response: It would have taken a mere moment to read over the lease. Our cancellation policy is clear and concise. When paying, each renter is prompted to read the lease and "agrees" to it by hitting the enter button. This is a renter who did not do her due diligence and did not follow the rules of reading the lease. There is renters insurance she could have purchased.
