It's almost unheard of to find a cabin with our incredible mountain views with rates like this!

If you are looking for an affordable but perfect honeymoon or vacation cabin that has beautiful mountain views, yet minutes to all the attractions, shopping and restaurants, this is the cabin for you! 'Cabin of Dreams' is a very cozy 2 Bedroom (one in the loft), 2 bath log cabin located on Bluff Mountain, about 5 miles from downtown Pigeon Forge, approximately 8 miles from Dollywood and about 14 miles from Gatlinburg. This beautiful cabin has some of the most spectacular mountain views that you will ever see!! Our cabin features WI-FI, a gas log fireplace, color TVs with cable and dvd player, hot tub on the deck, jacuzzi in the loft, and a regulation pool table. There is a full sized, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, and charcoal cooking grille outside. The bedroom on the first floor has a queen size log bed, and the loft has a king size bed with its own private bath and awesome views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Relax in the jacuzzi in the loft while watching the moon and stars at night, along with all the city lights twinkling from Pigeon Forge-it's a beautiful sight! The large hot tub and rocking chairs on the deck are also great for relaxing and enjoying the panoramic, breath taking mountain view! Perfect for your honeymoon or if you just need to get away for a vacation! You will be re-energized and feel peaceful at The Cabin of Dreams! If you like to ski, check out Ober Gatlinburg in downtown Gatlinburg! Cades Cove is not far, so if you're a nature lover or like old historical places, check it out. It is an 11 mile loop through a well preserved old settlement, with log homes, barns, and churches, along with an abundance of wildlife. If you're a fisherman, the Pigeon River is about 20 minutes away, and the National Park is about 30 minutes away.

Some of the other many attractions include: Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, Tanger Outlet Mall, Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The Biltmore House in Asheville is not too far away, along with Harrah's Casino in Cherokee.

Another thing, If you are like me, you worry about renting someplace sight-unseen because you don't know what you will find when you arrive. But the 'Cabin of Dreams' is beautiful, and our professional cleaners do a great job so you can be assured of a warm and inviting getaway that is very clean!

**If you need a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin, check out VRBO #502554, it's just down the hill from this one.

**Rates are subject to change at any time before a reservation is confirmed.

About Lezlee

My husband and I live here in East Tennessee and love the Smoky Mountain area and all it has to offer. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Lezlee purchased this cabin in 2012

Why Lezlee chose Tennessee

We love our cabin for the cozy atmosphere, and beautiful views from our decks. It's wonderful to be just a few minutes from all the attractions, shopping, and restaurants in the area, but also be nestled on Bluff Mountain!

What makes this cabin unique

We looked at many different cabins before purchasing 'Cabin of Dreams' but found none with a view of the mountains that equals ours. You can sit on the deck and rock, relax and enjoy the views and peace and quiet or take advantage of the area attractions within minutes!

A beautiful cabin. Limited view. Tough access with limited mobility. Poor cleaning. Maint. issues.

  • 2 of 5

We enjoyed what view we did have. Could kill off some of the wild grape vines on back side to allow view down into woods. The stairs are very wobbly and quite high for someone like me with limited mobility. I have very bad knees and severe arthritis. I will know to ask in the future. Not something a very fit person would think of. The main floor bathroom toilet had a sanitized ring on it but it was dirty and had a big wad of paper towels we had to clean out. The fridge and the AC air handler are quite noisy from the lower floor bedroom. They woke us up periodically. The bedroom fan, ceilings, blinds, and artificial flowers were very dusty. I had to figure the wifi password out on my own. It also lost its connection several times. There are dozens of popped nails on the decks that could be fixed with a hammer in 5 to 10 minutes. The hot tub needs some fixing up as well. It stayes good and warm but has low pressure and only one jet is aerated. There were no tablets in the automatic chemical dispenser. The AC doesn't keep up with the morning sunshine. It got up to 80 or so in the kitchen while we were trying to fix breakfast. It would be nice to have a dish cloth to do dishes with. Several of the kitchen utensils still had eggs stuck to them. There were only 2 salad forks and 1 dinner fork. Finally, any couple of those items might be expected. But when they're all added up, it really detracted from our hard earned vacation. We will know better than to ask for this cabin again. More than likely, we will more than likely not rent through HomeAway without written answers to a list of question. I believe 90% of these problems should have been attended to as a common courtesy. We were asked to, and did observe a five(5) page list of demands. I should expect no less of the landlord or his agent. Many people ask how our experiences with cabin rentals has gone in the past. My response to those on this cabin will be, it's a nice cabin with numerous minor to more serious problems that should be addressed. And they will want to inquire about any potential issues. I think the price would have been very fair minus all the issues. If anyone cares to, If you rent this cabin you will want to bring a card table and some folding chairs. It has the most uncomfortable kitchen table and chairs I've ever used.

Owner's Response: When a cabin is rated 5 stars from 123 reviews, one like this is easy to figure out. Especially when someone is downgrading it because they have arthritis and have trouble with the stairs! It's not the first time someone has written a bad review, trying to get a refund. Of course the view is not limited. . . the mountains are gorgeous! This person is talking about the side view, where the view is wooded. . . the mountains are on the other side and are not blocked! The only valid point in this review is the wifi problem, and that's been fixed. We switched from satellite back to cable after this person's stay and it's working great. If there's a problem with the hot tub, no one else has mentioned it. And they didn't call me to ask for help or let me know. I always respond quickly to problems and get them taken care of IF I know about them! Like all issues I'm made aware of, It will be checked out immediately and repaired if necessary. Oh, and the 5 pages of demands? They're not demands at all! They're talking about the rental contract, which all rental owners have to have to protect themselves and their investments because of a few past guest's actions. The other 123 reviews clearly send the message that this cabin is clean and well kept, and I know people are smart enough to base their decision of whether or not to rent it on the majority of reviews, instead of one that is obviously not written to benefit future guests. An amazing getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this cabin! The distance from both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge was amazing. We were secluded yet close to all the attractions in a short drive. The cabin was clean and cozy and the beds were SO COMFY! The view from the cabin was breathtaking and we even got some awesome pictures of the mountains a little further up the road. We plan on returning next year!

Beautiful surroundings and scenery.

  • 5 of 5

The view from the front porch is beautifully impressive. We came to Pigeon Forge during evacuation from Hurricane Irma. At a frantic time in ones life, this little cabin brought a sense of peace and tranquility to my family. Checking in is smooth and there are just enough accommodations to make you feel comfortable. The people in the towns are very nice. I would recommend coming to this beautiful area and cabin to everyone. And the view overlooking the mountains from the porch, is something you'll never forget.

Very pretty, very nice, very clean. Childproof and sun issues

  • 4 of 5

Loved the place. But the banasters up stairs are spaced too far apart. My 2 year old could fit through easily we had to buy a baby gate to keep her down stairs. Also the porch railings are too widely spaced. There are no gates on the outside porch which made keeping toddlers on the porch a hassle. Also the big windows make for an amazing view... BUT they face east. Which means u are up at sunrise. It's unbelievably bright through the windows.. We did habe a great time. And the people were very nice and easy to work with.

Relaxing and Cozy

Definitely our cabin of choice. Already stayed twice this year with one more long weekend in November. Clean, cozy and close to reality although tucked away in the mountains.
