A great retreat!
Great owner, wonderful location, lovely cabin!
Very nice accomodations!
We had a lovely family vacation here. Everything was clean and decent. We rented the pontoon for our stay and our kids and grandkids enjoyed fishing and tubing!
Cozy, clean and welcoming!
This was a great spot for our wintry weekend get-away. Mission Lake got about 10 inches of snow the night before we came up and another 6 inches fell our second night there--all was cleaned out and made a beautiful backdrop!
As other reviews mention, this cabin is well-equipped and has a nice-flowing layout, giving a cozy "up North" feel with plenty of space for a group. We loved the fireplace! The big lot was nice for a walk among the pine trees and there's plenty of parking space. It's easy to find.
Steph and Art were fantastic to work with. They gave clear directions for our stay and nice suggestions about the area. Their hospitality showed through from start to finish, both with their communication and how they left their place ready for us.
We had a group in our 30s-40s and loved the location in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Fishing, snowshoeing (Veterans Memorial Trail outside of Pequot Lakes was a great new spot--especially for a beginner in our crew), Nisswa breweries, shopping and lunch at Christmas Point in Baxter, massages at Breezy Point and lots of games around the dining table.
We'd recommend this spot for winter fun!
perfect place loved it
Great Lake house on Mission Lake!!
The house was well-kept and very family friendly. We had 9 people staying in the home, and we were very comfortable!! Their pontoon was great, and the owners provided clear directions for maintaining the house during our stay. Book this house!!
Great quiet family getaway
This cabin is fantastic! Loons wake you in the morning for your coffee on the deck looking out at the lake. The two lakes are connected by a deep enough channel to navigate most boats. The fishing is great. There is plenty of panfish and Northern on the lower lake and great Walleye fishing on the upper. If you like to bike, the Cayuna mountain bike area is only a 10 minute drive away. If Road biking is more your style the Paul Bunyan trail, which stretches from Brainerd to Bemidji is a few miles the other direction.
This is a great place to make memories.
