A piece of Hollywood history. The property is unique and has lots of characters.
Exclusive, historic, private, uniquely beautiful
Not very satisfied. The home needs tlc and a good cleaning.
The house is old - turn of the century - but spacious and comfortable. Beautiful setting up against South Mountain with vineyards and lemon orchards. Quiet - no noise from Highway 126 and only the occasional quiet buzzing of an airplane near the Santa Paula airport. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio and dining table for a family group dinner. The beds are comfortable and the master tub/shower is Steve McQueen cool!
We so enjoyed our recent stay at this unique property. This lovely 100 year old home was a perfect space for our family and good friends to gather together, cook and reminese. We spent much of our time outside as the weather was perfect as were the surroundings. Steve the cat is a delight and nice to have around.
I dont know where to start really...tons of space to lounge around, spectacular landscaping / views to relax and enjoy >just breath and feel worlds away. Paintball park, golf course within walking distance, vineyard on property you can run through in your birthday suit if you choose in privacy, hiking trails, fire pit or bbq grill, secret gardens, main center fireplace, wooden porches, wooden swings, 100 year old house with tons of character and a modern upgraded chefs kitchen, great history and the last treasured home of Steve McQueen and his decorative touch remains throughout. Beautiful tuxedo ranch cat named "Steve" - he is so cool, he might let you know him. He will break down any cat hater, no question. He broke me. The place just produces peace, joy, laughter, presence, connecting, appreciating, escaping and on and on.
Owners are exceptional people that clearly want to share this jewel they have. We appreciate every bit and will return annually. I know this review may seem over the top- but I have no reason to lie. I left a lot out as a matter of fact. GO ENJOY!!!!!!!!!
Great historic house! There was a great yard with a vineyard, garden, pond, and plenty of little nooks to sit and relax. There is also a cat on the property, but it is nice and does not bother you. I would definitely come back.
