This is an oceanfront property with breathtaking views of the bay of Santa Marta and the Sierra Nevada mountains. It is only a 10 min walk or 5 min taxi drive away from the historical center of Santa Marta. This is a three bedroom apartment with three full baths and one half bathroom. The master bedroom has incredible views of the ocean and the Sierra Nevada mountains. There is a full balcony where you can take in the gorgeous sunsets, nap in a hammock, and accompany the beautiful Caribbean scenery with a cocktail! There is a pool where you can get your exercise in, take long walks or runs on the beach, walk to the historical center of Santa Marta. Local restaurants are in walking distance or a short cab ride away. Parque Tayrona National Park is about 45 min. away and the beauty will blow you away. The walk to the beaches through the tropical forest is magical! This park is especially unique because the mountains which frame the coastline are the highest near a coast. You will not want to miss an excursion to the park. If a little altitude is more your thing, not to worry Minca is also about a 30 min. drive up to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The climate is perfect if you are looking for a little refuge from the heat. Santa Marta is a jewel and you will be taken aback by all the wonderful sightseeing!
I am a native of Santa Marta but left as a child and have spent the majority of my adult life in the States. I always longed to go back to Santa Marta when I retired and in 2004 I was able to make that dream possible when I purchased this condo while it was under construction. Therefore I took part in the design while it was being built. It has been my second home and I take pride in it's care.
Hernan Correa purchased this condo in 2004

My family and I stayed in this lovely apartment in August 2014. It was perfect for my family, consisting of my wife and I and our three young children, ages 6, 5, and 2 at the time. It gave us great access to the city and to relatives that lived close by. Parks and marina within easy walking distance. The pool was a good size and simply perfect and wonderful for us as it was a great place for us to hang out with our children. They loved the place. The owner was very nice and called to check up on us several times. The housekeeper gave us lots of information and assistance when she was there (she lives elsewhere with her family). The apartment is well decorated and comfortable. The building has good security and controlled access to the beach and street. The views of the ocean and the beach were great. During our stay, there was a beach soccer tournament on the beach below and we had the best seats in the house on the balcony. I would definitely recommend the apartment and gladly stay there again.
This apartment is absolutely beautiful, and the hospitality of the owner and housekeeper were incredible. If I ever go back to Santa Marta, this is where I'll stay. The apartment building's pool was icing on the cake. The owner, Rosalba, helped us with transportation, travel arrangements, and any issues that arose during the stay. She seemed sincerely interested in making sure everything was perfect during our time in the apartment. I couldn't have been happier with the apartment.
The condo is extremely spacious and has gorgeous views of the beach. Rosalba is an excellent host and helped provide cleaning services, transportation from the airport and welcomed us with lunch and drinks on the first day making our stay even more comfortable. The neighborhood is very safe, place is very well-furnished and the pool downstairs is a highlight. Overall, a great getaway place for a large group.
My husband and I have been to Santa Marta many times over the last five years. This is the fourth apartment we have rented, and it was by far the most beautiful and enjoyable. The entire building is perfectly maintained and Rosalba has furnished her home with exquisite furnishings and art. The condo is even more outstanding than in the available photos. Lovely Nini, the housekeeper, had coffee ready for us every morning when we got up – what a treat! We reserved the condo for one month and used it as our base while we took side trips out of the city. The spacious balcony was our favorite spot – we spent so much time watching the huge ships come and go, the fishermen rowing out to set their nets and pulling in their catch, soccer games, dogs romping, the early morning walkers exercising on the beach, and of course, having our glass of wine while we watched the sun set. We also enjoyed the large pool right above the beach. Sometimes we had dinner at home with friends, and other times we walked or took a cab to Parque de Los Novios, a beautiful park with quite a few nice restaurants surrounding it. We liked the neighborhood and found it convenient for walking along the beach to the marina, to Parque Bolivar or to the historical area. Perfect condo, great location -- we would stay here again.
The apartment was lovely with a perfect balcony for watching the sunset. The master bedroom is large with a great view of the sea. The housekeeper, Nini, was very helpful and made breakfast for us which was a surprise.
