Great Business Retreat Rental.....

The company I work for does a yearly planning retreat. We chose this home and it was the perfect fit for us. We had 8 in our group. All 8 of us slept very comfortably and we had lots of room. It was a very comfortable stay. The layout of the home is fantastic. Its laid out in such a way that its nice and open and spacious. The owner was more than helpful and made our reservation process very smoothly and simple. She has the house setup so nicely. The house was everything and more that the description described. In the evenings we went to M22 Restaurant and the food was spectacular and so was the view. Great selection of food and just a very quick trip from the rental home. In the evenings a few from the group would workout in the gym and some sat in the sauna and some out on the deck. After a day full of meeting and planning the house was always a delight in the evenings. The photo's displayed is exactly what we received with this beautiful rental home. Being in this home was a breath of fresh air for all of us. The tart trail is near by and it was nice because we would just walk from the house to the tart trail and some of us walked and some of us took our rollerblades. Lots of convience with staying in this rental home. Very nice to wake up in the monings and look out at the beautiful sunrise. Perfect views. One night we sat in the hot tub and had cocktails and watched the sun set. Just spectacular views. This rental is very close to downtown. Lots of character and great food and shopping in the downtown district. We will for sure be going back to this piece of heaven!

Very nice rental!

My family had the opportunity to visit Traverse City and we were fortunate to stay at this charming home. We enjoyed the home so much. Everything was at our finger-tips and it was very well equipped. All we needed to do was just pack our clothes. Communication with the owner was awesome and I highly recommend you consider this home for your Traverse area visit.

Great location, but no place to put a boat

Overall this home was very well kept up and had great updates. Loved the hot tub!! The location was amazing, close to everything. The only complaint we had was we were told that there would be a dock, depending on water levels, and a mooring ball. There were neither. So we were forced to put in our boat into other lakes and marinas every day. The beach was very rocky, so bring your water shoes or plan on going to another beach, because you can't swim by the beach. The kitchen is not very stocked so plan on bringing some things from home: salt and pepper, tuper wear, tin foil, paper towels, any thing you may need that is not basic (plates, cups, silverware, some pots and pans are provided).

Overall we loved the place, just wished we were a bit more prepared of what we needed and what to expect. Hopefully this will help with your upcoming stay.

Owner's Response: Hi Amanda , Thank you for your feedback , as I tell all of our potential guests that the water levels are down and therefore does create a rocky shoreline , but there is a groomed beach as we did improve the beach last year.. we also have the home adjacent that also has the improved beach. I do not promise that the dock will be in nor is it listed as having a dock in the VRBO listing. Unfortunately nothing I can do about the shoreline, the shoreline is the same throughout the bay area. There is a mooring bouy at the property, it just may look like it is next door ( which we also own and rent) Had you called during your stay we would have been happy to tell you. Regarding supplies at the house, we do provide the basics ,adequate dishes , pots and pans glassware etc, naturally over the course of a season some things do disapear. We are always available to supply or restock if requested. Thank you for your thoughts and for leaving the property in such nice condition we will endeavor to improve the kitchen inventory. Hope to see you next year ( maybe the water levels will be up then) Pamela (owner) Post Note: Sept 9, 2016 Please be advised our water levels this summer (2016) were up 5 ft which created fabulous beaches and made our beaches great for walking , boating and swimming etc. All of my rentals enjoy great beaches, let's hope it continues next year as well.

Great location, very private lot with lots of mature trees , yet only 2 miles from downtown Traverse City where activities abound. Beaches, great shopping, dining, nightlife. Oodles of wineries and microbreweries nearby.

Views of Power Island and beautiful sunrises and city lights at night. 1 mile to the popular " Leelanau Trail". 30 miles of paved trail for biking, and hiking .
