Adorable Cottage and Amazing Location
The cottage was such a beautiful place to visit for our family vacation. So relaxing and peaceful we did not want to leave at the end of our week! Our family of four fit comfortably in the cottage and our teenage daughters really enjoyed their time spent in the house. It was so quiet and secluded without being too far from anything. The view at high tide was terrific and kayaking the cove was the highlight of our trip. We even enjoyed walking out to the cove during low tide to awe at how different the landscape was from just a few hours before.
Our hosts were very responsive and made sure our stay in their cottage was the perfect get away from it all. Pretty much anything you would need is available at the cottage. The home made soaps were the perfect added touch. Everything was very well maintained and I would highly recommend staying here to all my friends and family.
The town of Bath and nearby Brunswick were great places to dine and shop. Also, Popham Beach State Park and the Giant Steps on Bailey's Island were amazing places to visit.
Thanks again to our hosts for being so helpful, quick to respond and sharing their beautiful home!

Peaceful Maine Cottage
Our family of four really enjoyed our time at this beautifully renovated Maine cottage. It was very refreshing to arrive at such a lovely spot on the cove, to a clean, welcoming cottage where we could all relax. Our daughters loved the reading nook and we enjoyed the peacefulness of this location! We would highly recommend asking the owners about renting the kayaks to enjoy the cove from the water. It was beautiful!
This was our first trip to West Bath and we loved it! The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had and really have done a wonderful job creating a peaceful retreat.
Maine as it should be
The cottage was everything we hoped for, the renovations and overall decor were great. We loved the local references and history as well as the nod to our homeland of Scotland. The location on the water is quiet and perfect. Definitely ask the owners about renting the kayaks and get out on the water to see the beautiful cove. One thing that particularly impressed us, apart from the spectacular setting, was the level and quality of the provided extras. From quality towels, to sufficient laundry provisions and a well stocked kitchen with ample condiments and beverage supplies. My only other advice is to bring a lot of bug spray, the mosquitoes in Maine are voracious!
Clean, cozy get away in a beautiful setting!
Our family of three thoroughly enjoyed our first trip to Maine and hope to be able to make a return trip sometime in the future. If so, we’ll definitely look forward to staying at this rental once again as we found it very clean, comfortable, well-kept and set in a beautiful location at the edge of the woods overlooking one of Maine’s many picturesque coastal waterways/inlets. The owner’s attention to detail is spot-on and everything needed to make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable is taken into consideration.
Many thanks to Deb & Jamie for their hospitality!
