5 minute drive from downtown Sonoma located in the coveted east side of town and
a short drive or bike ride to many wineries. Completely refurnished in 2012 with new
beds, appliances, sofas, furniture, etc. including a remodeled barn for
entertainment, new flagstone patio, pergola, new hardwood floors, and freshly
painted bedrooms. Well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms including a walk-in shower
and large whirlpool tub. Perfect for a family, 2-3 couples, or a friends
getaway. Large flat screen TV in the living room, flat screen in the master,
and Blueray/DVD player in the living room with cable service including HBO.
There's also WiFi (Wireless Internet) and a Sonos stereo system that allows you
to control music from your phone or laptop and has two separate music areas (1
inside and 1 outside by the pool). Barn is recently remodeled with ping pong,
pool table, and sofa.
Walking into the front door you'll immediately notice the openness of the floor
plan, with a kitchen that opens up to the large living room that flows into the
spacious dining room, making for a 'great room' for entertaining. The outdoor
pool and patio is located off of the dining room and is equipped with a dining
table, lounge chairs, a pergola for shade, a commercial heater, and a festive
string of outdoor lights set on a dimmer, perfect for eating, relaxing and
entertaining. There is a second deck with a brand new hot tub (2014) and outdoor speakers. The gorgeous views from the outdoor area are towards the west and
north (primarily to the west) with open fields, vineyards, a horse ranch and
mountains in the distance. The 3 bedrooms are located on the other side of the
house, comprised of a master bedroom with king bed, tv, private bath (incl.
whirlpool tub and walk-in shower), and private deck, and two guest rooms both
with queen beds that share a full bathroom.

Sonoma is a special place and this home has many of the key attributes that make this experience special - close to many wineries and attractions, beautiful peaceful views of adjacent farmland, vineyards, and hills, plenty of land to roam around, a classic barn for entertaining, and great indoor and outdoor space for relaxing.
The living areas - both indoor and outdoor - rural setting, beautiful views, and central location make this place truly unique.
We rented this house this past July. For many years we vacationed in Tahoe every summer but will likely make Sonoma and this house our yearly destination instead. The house itself is fantastic. My wife and I were accompanied by our two grade school kids. The three bedrooms including a large master were perfect for us. Between the pool, hot tub and grounds including a row of grape vines and a charming barn with a ping pong table, foosball, billiards and darts, you really never have to leave. Its proximity to downtown Sonoma and local vineyards (easy bike ride away) made any exploring you care to do easy. The kitchen and open floor plan gives the house a very light and airy feel. It is situated down a dirt road among the vineyards. Even though it is less than an hour from San Francisco, you feel that you are far away. We loved this home and will be back!

I rented this house for a week during my wedding and it was the absolute perfect home base during all the festivities and a great place to spend the week with my loved ones. It is close enough to Sonoma Square and the wineries to make everything really convenient yet removed enough to make it feel a bit more country and quiet! I had my hair and makeup teams come to the house and prep all the bridesmaids (8 of them plus moms and kids) on the day of the wedding and there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and make themselves comfortable. The barn was a big hit with the kids (of all ages - hah). We didn't use the pool much but it was nice to sit outside by the pool and enjoy the breeze. The furniture and decorations in the house are all super comfortable and well thought out. I had friends taking pictures of the furnishings for inspirations for their own homes. The master bedroom is really spacious and I wanted to take the pillows home with me! Typically, rental properties have cheap and uncomfortable linens and pillows - that couldn't be farther from the truth here. I could go on and on about this property but I will keep it short and simple. Bottom line - I loved this place so much that I rented it again a year and a half later for my baby shower! I spent a long weekend at the house with some friends and we had a small baby shower. The house is perfect for entertaining small groups! The owner is super responsive and helpful and always worked to accommodate all of my requests! This property is A+++! You wont regret staying here!
We booked this Sonoma house for a week hoping for a nice, clean house close to base ourselves in whilst we visited nearby wineries and towns. But once we arrived, we didn't want to leave! The house is so well appointed and so comfortable, that we were happy staying in and chilling by the pool. Or cooking in the generously appointed kitchen (heaps of crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, glassware, kitchen appliances) with fabulous local produce and eating in. No fear of running out of the basics either - soap, toilet paper, kitchen towel, cleaning liquid is in great supply. Which shows the host, Seth's, generous nature and is also evident throughout his property. It was also very clean for our arrival. The deck outside the living area is just wonderful to have a glass of wine and watch the sunset. We did so every evening. With great warm weather during our stay, the pool was a fantastic feature. We didn't actually go into the barn nor use the hot tub, but we could imagine many families and guests would appreciate those also. The local area is great - very close to shops and nearby wineries or farmers markets. Would highly recommend this property. We hope to come back! Thanks so much Seth.
We had such an amazing stay here! The house was so spacious and so many different areas that anyone who needed a little "alone time" had the space to do so. We came in February so we did not use the pool, however the hot tub was definitely perfect after a long day wine tasting! We didn't really utilize the barn/play room, but it would be great place for any families with teenagers to hang out in. The location was perfect as well! So close to restaurants, stores and wineries as well. It was perfect for us since we did tours in both Sonoma & Napa! Seth was easy to work with as well. We highly recommend this place! We could not have loved our stay at this Sonoma retreat any more than we did!! This home was absolutely perfect for our girls weekend, and accomodated our group very comfortably! Seth, the owner, was easy to get in touch with and had left very careful and simple instructions at the home to guide us through our stay. The house was clean and cozy when we arrived and we had everything we could have possibly needed. The backyard space is incredible, the perfect place to watch the sunsets, hang out by the pool and enjoy the hot tub. The living and dining area was more than comfortable for meals all together, watching movies, and relaxing. The bedrooms were super cozy and inviting. We didn't use the barn too much but we checked it out and it would be an awesome hangout space for families and groups with kids. We all agreed that our husbands would have loved it!! Being a group of girls, we all felt completely safe at the house and had absolutely zero issues during our stay. If I were to ever come back to Sonoma, I would stay here again in a heartbeat as we could not have asked for a better experience or a more perfect place to stay!
My son and I decided to rent this wonderful home in Sonoma to celebrate my grandson's 4th birthday. It was clean, safe, well marked and well maintained. All the descriptions were spot on, as well as the online photos. The owner answered my questions promptly. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. What a perfect location and a short drive for having a child's birthday party at Train Town--just a few miles down the road. His friends from Mill Valley could easily drive to the darling Train Town for the party and return in the same afternoon.
We wanted to include my niece and her family who live in Lotus, CA, on our weekend festivities--a long overdue reunion. We were all very comfortable and thankful to have such a lovely home for our gathering. The owner, Seth, has done due diligence readying this home making sure everything--and I mean everything--is well stocked and well appointed with lovely furnishings, kitchen paraphernalia, towels, sheets, blankets, etc. We made lots of wonderful family memories at this wonderful property. We will definitely come again. After all the children left, my husband, cousin and I toured the Benziger Winery in Glen Allen--a very high tech and environmentally conscious vineyard. Later in the evening, we went to a restaurant in Glen Allen called Star. It was excellent. Seth's home is centrally located and very convenient to the lovely downtown Sonoma village.
