Wonderful, intimate hideaway with lots of personal touches. Beach is gorgeous.

  • 5 of 5

We had a relaxing, beautiful week of sun and Gulf and good eating. The bungalow was clean and well stocked. The beach is visible across the whole front of the house and the bedroom. The hot tub is well placed and private, clean, with great views at sunset. Very dark at night so glorious star watching with ocean music. We highly recommend a stay in a beach bungalow in a Florida that is slowly disappearing.

Simple relaxation... all you could want!

  • 5 of 5

Alligator Point is definitely low-key "no neon" environment... just what we (& our dogs) were looking for! The beachfront cottage & outside area were both everything the pictures show & more. Nice touches all around by the owner... even assisted me promptly & graciously on getting the grill burner working, which we put to good use! We really liked this place & would book again if returning. (Not the location for stimulation junkies!)

Another wonderful stay at the Beachfront Cottage at Alligator Point

  • 5 of 5

We have been coming to this cottage for several years in late spring, and decided to spend the Christmas Holidays in 2016. As always, we had a wonderful time at this wonderful little beach cottage at beautiful Alligator Point. The beach is so beautiful, and being dog friendly is perfect for our family. The house is wonderfully appointed and very comfortable. We always see lots of dolphins and other sea life, which is a big thrill for us all. If you are looking for a great place to stay at a beautiful, natural old-school Florida beach off the beaten path, we can't recommend this beach cottage highly enough!

The view and quiet of December was Amazing

  • 3 of 5

My mother and stayed in this place for a few nights in December. The view, proximity to beach, and quiet was exactly what was needed. The hot tub made for some nice chill time. There were really only two issues for us. . . .the furniture was a bit worn (which is totally expected for a rental), and thus not comfortable for sitting, and when you are chilling for hours reading books this is a little bit of a downer. Also, the TV in the main living area was not attached to Internet, or DVD, etc, and even when I tried to hook up my own HDMI, it would not work. If you are a couple, and want to lounge in bed and watch movies (where the DVD player, etc is hooked up to a wall-mounted TV)then this would not be an issue for you--the limited channels in the main living area where also a bit of a downer considering that we wanted to just chill, and there were some rainy days, which made watching movies alluring, but was not to be. I would imagine in the summer, when one is on the beach all day, this is less of an issue. BUT, the view is amazing. The windows looking out to the Gulf, stunning.

Owner's Response: Both televisions in the house are connected to the same Hi-Def cable package that includes a huge selection of movies, sports, family, news and music stations; somewhere in the neighborhood of 250 channels to choose from. I specifically pay for the expanded channel lineup in the house to ensure there is never a shortage of channels to watch on either TV on a rainy day. There are very specific instructions in the guest book detailing how to use both TV/cable boxes. As I tell all my guests – I live close by and I am available 24x7 to address any issues with the house. I am sorry you could not get the TV in the living room to work; I wish you had let me know and I would have been happy to assist.

Absolutely Fantastic!!

  • 5 of 5

The property was just as described, if not better. The views were absolutely more amazing than the pictures. Just a great place to lay around and do absolutely nothing at all.

Exactly what we were looking for.

Loved it!! Will definitely be back!!!
