We bought this land and built the cabin ourselves, with lots of help from family and friends, as a getaway from Las Vegas summers. We love to get away to the small town feel of Williams and are so excited to share it with others. Roger and I bring our family up to this cabin whenever we can.
Roger Fernane purchased this cabin in 2008
With downtown Williams within walking distance, it is a great place to unplug and unwind in the mountains but within walking distance of anything you need. The Grand Canyon Railway, Route 66 and even a short drive to the Grand Canyon itself makes this place a great getaway.
All wood decor gives it a woodsy cabin feel and the wood burning stove makes it feel cozy. With room to sleep up to 8 in beds, it is a great family rental. The back porch is a great place to watch the sunset and the stargazing deck allows an amazing view
We really loved the location of the cabin in Williams. Just enough away from the hustle of Route 66 tourists but close enough to quickly be a part of it as well! The proximity to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Flagstaff is ideal for an adventure everyday, and hiking in Williams was amazing too off of Bill Williams Lookout.
We made some lifelong memories on our vacation to Arizona and really appreciate your wonderful home!
This cabin was amazing!! It was everything and more than we had hoped. The cabin is perched atop a hill right above the lovely town of Williams with beautiful views off the back porch of the surrounding mountains. The interior of the cabin had a cozy feel, but was spacious with ample room for everyone. The kitchen was well appointed as was the entire cabin. There was nothing we needed that wasn't readily available. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this wonderful cabin to all of my friends and family.
I picked the town of Williams as a base point to see the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and Flagstaff and this cabin was a real find - plenty of space for the four of us (me, my husband, and two teenage boys), yet still really cozy. Very nicely maintained with bathrooms that looked like new. I was concerned when I heard about the wood-burning stove heating, but the place heated up very quickly and was plenty warm. Comfy furniture and beds. The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the town itself was right on iconic Route 66 with lots of restaurants and shopping and nice, big, first-class grocery store. Had a great time!
I love that they built this house for their family
and that shows a labor of love !
Its a perfect location to go to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome and any of the towns you want to see
I only had one issue not enough lights , no bedside table except the master and still had no light
All four if us agreed that a bright ceiling light was not relaxing , just wanted a bedside table and a lamp
We were on a bucket list for a dear person who has cancer & was doing her bucket list , she was blown away .The other thing is Williams is a cool town , lots of fun .A lot of heart went into this cabin
Thanks Roger & family !!
Had a great time in this cabin. We had 4 adults and 4 kids and plenty of space! The outdoor areas around the house were perfect for snow play and the location was great to see everything Williams and the surrounding areas have to offer. We were plenty warm and enjoyed tending to the wood burning stove. Will recommend to others! Thank you!
During the winter season, it can become icy on the hill up to the house, we recommend chains or 4 wheel drive. The Polar Express train is just at the bottom of the hill. Elkridge Ski Resort is nearby as well. Plenty of yard area for winter snow activities.
