We have spent many family vacations at this home and loved every stay. The home is beautifully situated facing Cotuit bay and then looking out to Nantucket sound. There is a private beach where our children spend hours playing including swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking and sailing. The home is always fresh and clean and has all the comforts you could need. There is an expansive deck where we enjoyed many sunset dinners watching the boats pass by. It is an idyllic spot and one that we love to return to.
This is a great home. Beautiful overlooking the water and clean in every inch of the house. The owner has done a fantastic job of making this a turnkey rental. We loved our stay (and even learned how to make cappuccinos). We will be back!
Our family spent 2 weeks at this house and had a wonderful time. The house overlooks a small town harbor, a protected barrier beach, and beyond that, Nantucket Sound. Right on the water, the setting was perfect for swimming, sailing, kayaking and paddle boarding. There was usually a sailing class out in the harbor in the mornings, and boats going by during the day, however, the channel is far enough out from the house that noise was not an issue, it just made for a very charming scene!
The house itself is cheerfully decorated and well set-up with bedrooms down a single hall and a nice sized living/dining room overlooking the water. A large deck with a table and chairs was a beautiful place to sit or have meals in good weather, and as the house faces west, we saw some spectacular sunsets.
Overall, we had a great vacation. We loved this house and hope to stay again.
What an amazing location and unbelievable views for our summer vacation! We spent endless days on the water enjoying paddle boarding, kayaking, sailing and boating. The deck is a beautiful spot for lunch/dinner/enjoying a cocktail or viewing the stars. The house is very comfortable, clean and updated with all the amenities you could need. The home owners were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure a great stay. We will definitely return again next summer!
Our family stayed here for a week last summer. It turned out to be our best vacation on Cape Cod ever.
The house is beautifully situated right on the beach with a large deck that was the hub of our activity.
It's about 30 steps to the beach and warm bay waters. We brought a Sailfish and spent tme sailing around Oyster Harbors. The house is immaculate and comfortable and the location is one of the best on the Cape. We hope to come back every summer.
The view is amazing and you get a sense of seclusion while lounging out on the deck. When not on the deck we enjoyed plenty of activities with the kids – biking, kayaking, tennis, swinging on the hammock, exploring the shore and more……. The house is well kept and has everything you might need to enjoy your stay.
Looking forward to our next stay!!!!!
The cottage is on the private gated island of Oyster Harbors. It is an easy 2 mile walk to the center of Osterville with its upscale shops, restaurants and activities.
