Stylish Apartment Suitable For Leisure, Skiing, Golfing, Biking And Hiking

Fully equipped apartment with stylish interior, within walking distance from all services (shops, restaurants, bakery, banks, post office etc. ) and leisure attractions in the valley of Andermatt, for families with children or two couples.

There is an open kitchen with a cooking isle in the middle of this apartment overseeing the dining and living room. Furniture and fittings were designed with an eye for detail and quality. Two inviting bath rooms with a spacious bath tub and shower, and the two bed rooms provide space for 2-4 adults and 2-3 children comfortably. For additional comfort, the apartment comes with a parking space in the garage, as well as its own heated locker for drying and warming ski boots and gloves.

During summer, the golf course, a plethora of hiking and biking trails and several cosy restaurants are easily accessible by foot.

During winter, cross country skiing tracks and the base stations of the Gemsstock and Nätschen are in short walking distance. The Ski Arena passes stretch all the way to Oberalppass and Sedrun, which are a short train ride away. Andermatt is also famous for off-piste skiing, snow touring and fat-biking.

The Chedi hotel is in walking distance providing fine dining, lavish brunches, an inside and outside bar and a cigar lounge.

The heart of Milan with ample culture and shopping is a mere 1h50min away.

The apartment is close to train station. Direct trains can be taken to St. Moritz and Zermatt.

Wonderful modern apartment in a hidden gem!

We don't normally spend a lot of time on reviews, but it is warranted in this case. First will begin with the town of Andermatt.

Coming from the US for only a week of skiing, my family had a couple of requirements: access via train so no need to deal with rental car, more authentic part of Switzerland rather than the main touristy centers, and, of course, great skiing. Andermatt ticked all the boxes and then some. Easy access from either Zurich or Geneve, we lugged our bags from the train station to the apartment no problem. The town is a gem, no crowds, friendly, very few mid week tourists, and very charming. As for the skiing, the Gemstock has all the steeps for the most adventurous (the off piste stuff is world class), while the Nätschen side is great if you are up for a some sunny cruising.

As for the apartment, it was perfect for my family, well appointed and beautiful views. The pictures do not really do it justice, we loved our stay there and felt instantly at home. We even loved the train silently rolling by, the world famous red Matterhorn-Gotthard Bahn framed against the beautiful backdrop of snow covered peaks. It was also an easy walk to the Gemstock or Nätschen for skiing, or into the village for groceries. Moreover, Chris Kayatz went above and beyond to make our trip as easy as possible. They were fantastic to deal with.

We read about Andermatt turning into a glitzy resort, that maybe true eventually, but it certainly didn't have the touristy feel of Zermatt or Grindelwald. If you are looking for authentic Switzerland away from the bustle of the normal tourists destinations, I can't recommend both Andermatt and the Kayatz family apartment enough.

Väldig fin lägenhet,ljus,lugnt område, bra utrustning vad beträffande kök.

Ligger bra i Andermatt när det gäller tillgänglighet till Kabinbana ( Gemstock och tågstationen)

Förvaring för skidor och pjäxor i källare mycket bra.

Lägenhetens utformning och läge känns att vi vill komma tillbaka.

Moderne und gepflegte Wohnung mit grosszügigem Grundriss und guter Lage

Die helle Wohnung befindet sich in einem modernen, ruhigen Mehrfamilienhaus und überzeugt durch die geschmackvolle und komplette Einrichtung, den grosszügigen Grundriss sowie einer guten Lage zu Bahnhof, Gondeln und Coop. Weiter verfügt die Wohnung über viel praktisches Equipment, welches einem das Leben vereinfachen.

Das Kinderzimmer ist gemütlich und grosszügig gestaltet, und der Töggelikasten war bei unseren Jungs natürlich der absolute Hit! Die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet, damit man Abends auch etwas Feines kochen kann. Wir haben die Wohnung für die Skiferien gebucht und dabei den Skiraum mit beheizbarem Spint für die Ski-Schuhe sehr geschätzt.

Die Wohnung ist sehr hell und freundlich und liegt unmittelbar an der Bahnlinie der Gotthard-Zermatt-Bahn (ein Plus für Bahnfreunde!). Von der Bahn hört man aber überhaupt nichts, die Fenster sind sehr gut isoliert. Auch herrscht dort kein reger Zugverkehr. In wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man Bahnhof, Shops sowie die Talstationen der Gondeln der ganzen Skiarena. Die Wohnung war in einem tadellos sauberen Zustand und der Kontakt zu den Vermietern sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Wir können diese Wohnung jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Wunderschöne, moderne Wohnung mit allem was es braucht

Alles hat bestens geklappt. Eine sehr geschmackvolle, moderne Wohnung welche wir in einem blitzsauberen Zustand übernehmen durften. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet, das gemütliche Wohnzimmer lädt zum kuscheln und lesen ein und es hat zwei schöne, grosse Badezimmer. Da das Wetter nicht wirklich gut war in unserer Ferienwoche, konnten wir leider kein Sonnenbad auf dem Balkon nehmen.

Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig am Dorfrand, die Bahnlinie führt direkt am Haus vorbei, man hört den Zug aber kaum. Beide Skistationen sind nur einen kurzen Fussmarsch entfernt und ins Zentrum von Andermatt braucht man zu Fuss ca. 10Min. Wir brauchten unser Auto die ganze Woche nicht.

Super ist auch der Schrank mit dem Skischuhtrockner im Skiraum im Keller. Der Raum ist sehr grosszügig konzipiert, es gibt sogar eine Sitzbank wo man sich die Skischuhe anziehen kann. Ski und Schlitten können auch in diesem Raum untergestelllt werden.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit und der Kontakt zu Herrn Kayatz war sehr freundlich und unkompliziert.

Bra boende, rent och fint, bra placerat

Vi hade en mycket bra vistelse. Värden var engagerad och svarade snabbt på alla frågor. Mycket hög standard på den nybyggda lägenheten. Kanonbra med skidförvaring och värmeskåp för pjäxorna. Om det finns nåt förbättringsområde så är det hastigheten på internet, det går med ca 2Mb/sek. Men i stort sett allting var mycket bra.

Vi skulle gärna hyra detta igen om vi kommer tillbaka till Andermatt. Hälsningar från 4 nöjda och glada skidåkare från Sverige👍?😊?
