Perfect location and setting

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed the home. There was plenty of room for our group of two families. We really enjoyed the quietness of the area. Would definitely stay here again. Fun had by all.

Nice place to relax and get away!

  • 4 of 5

We spent our Spring Break here in March of 2017. The cabin was great and away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. We made a few suggestions for the owner on some additional kitchen supplies and the TV. The fireplace didn't work when we were there. The bedrooms were spacious and bathrooms clean and very nice. Generally everything was nice and relaxing. Great value for the price. Keep in mind, it is a distance to go around the lake to do any sightseeing, so if you plan for that time, you will be good. We were from out of state and our phone data/GPS wasn't always available so make sure you get physical directions.

Very nice setting inside the cabin, but nearest boat ramp 15 minutes away

  • 3 of 5

Cabin is very tucked away and secluded which was nice, but the roads were very, very small luckily our boat is not too big to haul but I couldn't imagine hauling a larger size boat down the roads to get there. There was gate access which was a nice security feature. When we got there I was very surprised with how updated the inside was. I loved the cabin look with some modern updates. Downsides, view wasn't the greatest of the lake, the back screen door to the main deck was broken. It rained all day the day we got there and was very windy so trying to keep that door shut was a pain. I wish we would have known the conditions of the pans to cook with I would have brought our own. I didn't see anywhere where it stated that the grill was charcoal. There was a bag about 1/4 full left but we had to go get a second bag at the store which was fine. It was very roomy and could comfortably fit multiple people. We decided to stay in the upstairs bedroom and when we got in the shower there was a large tick crawling on the wall. This was our first day there and it was raining so we were not outside at all. I also had one crawling on me as we were leaving. While I know we are in the woods and ticks are there, I would have liked to have not worried about the ticks inside the cabin as well. All in all, if you are just there to enjoy the cabin and do not have to worry about hauling your boat to the lake I would recommend it, but if you do not have somewhere where you can keep your boat docked and not have to worry about finding ramps and places to park your truck and trailer I would not recommend this cabin.

Beautiful and well kept.

The cabin had more than enough room and we liked it enough to return to this location in the future.
