This cabin is absolutely beautiful!! We have been home a couple of days now and have talked about how much we miss being at the cabin! My husband, I, 2 sons & 1 daughter stayed here for 6 days and had a wonderful time! The owner, Ms. Dodie, was the greatest! She was always very quick in responding to my emails and issuing our refund deposit. Everything you need is here, towels, sheets, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, washer, dryer, etc. We simply made a trip to the Ingles Supermarket, which is very close, to purchase our meats & treats! We really enjoyed our daytime view being on the side of a mountain and the moon was full during our trip which made the night view absolutely gorgeous!! It seemed like we could touch the stars! We were very close to MANY activities, so, you will never be bored staying in this area. Absolutely looking forward to staying here again very soon! Truly Heaven on Earth!
This cabin is so beautiful inside and out. The location is secluded and tucked away......it was exactly what we were looking for. The cabin is well stocked and beautifully decorated. We didn't want to come home. Very close to lots of activities and a short drive to Asheville. We can't wait to come back next year! Dodie was a pleasure to as well.
Can't say enough great things about this place!!
This cabin exceeded our expectations in every way! It is immaculate and has all the amenities you could possibly need to allow for a great vacation. Lots of activities within 20 minutes....we visited Cherokee, Fontana Lake and went whitewater rafting! (our favorite) We highly recommend the folks at Rolling Thunder rafting!(less than 20 mins) Bryson City offers groceries and lots of quaint shops, restaurants, tubing and hiking! There are rocking chairs and a fire pit to enjoy onsite as well! We typically do busy vacations, but all of our teenage girls loved the relaxing time we had here!
Try white water rafting at the Nantahala Outdoor Center, trout fishing, snow skiing or tubing, Fontana Lake, and train rides on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad.
Visit the Museum of the Cherokee Indians or the authentic Oconaluftee Indian Village. Tribal Bingo and Harrah's Casino are also located in Cherokee.
There are several restaurants and quaint shops in Bryson City and Cherokee.
All above activities within 30 minutes of the cabin.
Other attractions within less than an hour and a half of the cabin include: Gatlinburg, Biltmore House, Dollywood, Cataloochee Ski Area, Fontana Dam, Asheville, and Maggie Valley.
