Hello, my name is Robin i work out of my home, there are no front desk to come to I meet all my clients at the Native Cabin or the Light House., I have lived here around the mountain all my life, I have been married for 25 years, we have one son who I dearly Love, I am a Farmer we raise Chickens, Cattle and Horses. I love the out doors. I Thank my Lord for allowing James and I to use this beautiful Land.
Robin Bird purchased this cabin in 2012
This Property was a God sent, I Looked for years for a place on the brow of the mountain, never had a chance to buy till now, my family was the 2nd settlers on the mountain Owen and Jane West, most of my family either was born and raised on Petit Jean ,Ada Valley and Carden Bottoms. I love family and History.
We enjoyed the layout and the view. A fun place to stay!
When we arrived the air conditioning was set on 80, lamps missing light bulbs, when I booked the house it said it would sleep 5, and it only sleeps 4. I had to sleep on the living room couch, very disappointing. The coffee maker was broke, and tics are very bard around the house. We had no problem with tics on hicks. The grill on the back porch needs to be replaced, and I would move it, the smoke from cooking on it was sucked into the house through the air condition, and made the smoke alarm go off. Other than that we liked the location, very privet, and great view. I would stay again butt would rent larger house next door, it would had accommodated the group of 5 better. Thanks, John Tomanio
We the Ireland's enjoyed our Spring Break at the most beautiful, peaceful, cozy place on earth. The Hostess was the Mostess she provided us with directions to the cabins as well as for the activities for the children .Man the fish was biting as fast as you could bait your hook. The cabins had everything you could think of. A Home away from Home was the feeling we felt when we walked across the threshold. The only problem we had was the week went back to fast..... WILL BE RETURNING SOON! I will recommend anyone whom want to get away for a quite getaway contact Robin and asked about the Native Cabin It is well kept.

The place was exactly as described. Clean with a great view... Owners actually delivered a Christmas tree and ornaments and let us borrow a chainsaw... nice folks!
