Affordable quality family home, clean comfortable and secure with spectacular views.
This is a unique view home built overlooking the Edmonds bowl has appx 120 degree unobstructed wide sweeping water views from north to south. Always fun and exciting to use the binoculars or spotting scope to watch the marine traffic. Sometime you could see a submarine passing thru, or a pod of orcas :) The gardens in this home are mature with something always in bloom. I think my favorite is the trailing wisteria by the front door and the Chinese Empress tree.
The house was clean and well kept. The manager responded to all my emails very timely. The view from this home was outstanding while we were there. The weather was clear most days and it was a pleasure to just sit in the living area with my friends sipping wine we purchased at our wine tours about a 30 mins away. Restaurants were very good in Edmonds. Seattle is about 30 mins away. Boeing tour also about 30 mins. away. The home was great for our 3 couple group with comfortable sleeping areas and plenty of space for some private time as well for group space. I would recommend this property for you stay.

My daughter and her family spent a week with us in the Edmonds View home. Grandchildren are 16 and 20. We were so happy with our choice of a place to stay. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Lots of room and many spaces to hang out. We liked the openness of our gathering and viewing space which included the kitchen. It had everything we needed. Since we didn’t go out to eat that was very useful. We were treated every night with an amazing sunset. There are also many great books to discover.
Be sure to bring your binoculars or use the telescope in the upper formal viewing room. We watched the ferry go back and forth to Kingston from the many windows. We took the ferry one day and then drove to Port Townsend. Lots of cute shops here and found a place to sit and have a cup of clam chowder.
Edmonds is also a fun town to shop in. Loved walking the length of the harbor and at the end was a real treat watching dogs in the dog park. If you are wondering about Wifi, it was very good in the master suite and the living space. We had no complaints about the beds. Very comfortable.
One thing our family is sensitive to is smell. We liked the fact that our wonderful stay didn’t consist of a cleaning product or dryer sheet smell. Thank you Bob for being so accommodating and kind to us. Hope we are able to come back some day.
The 6 pack.
Our family of five loved staying at this house for two months! What a wonderful place to live and play. The views are spectacular -- loved spending summer afternoons watching the ferries and cruise boats go up and down the sound. The city of Edmonds is a wonderful walking town -- cute shops, excellent eateries. My girls, 7 and 9 both loved the "dog park" at the south end of Edmonds beach. I loved running down to Sunset Blvd. and out along the docks and marina.
We were hoping for a home with a great view and we were not disappointed. The view is spectacular. I injured myself and was somewhat chair bound. I spent much of my of time enjoying the view of the water and reading. This home was everything we were looking for. We were visiting for a wedding and wanted a homey place to stay. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. There is ample parking for a small group of guests but make sure to give explicit instructions as the house is off the beaten path. We settled in and felt at home. The main living/kitchen area is the best space in the house. We could cook a meal, while others played cards, or visited in the comfortable chairs, all in the same open space by the large windows. Bob was great to work with. Everything was just as he said it would be.
This home is absolutely fantastic. I recently stayed here with 5 other family members, and we had more than enough room. I can say for sure that up to 10 people can stay here comfortably, even with the ability to have some privacy and quite time from everyone else.
But what makes this house is - hands down - the view. We were lucky enough to stay here for Independence Day. We were about eye-level with the Edmonds fireworks, plus you could see other displays from all across the sound. From Bainbridge and Kingston to Whidbey Island. Absolutely breathtaking!!!
The sunsets were wonderful, and it was nice just waking up in the morning to watch the ferry and other boat traffic on the Sound.
The location is great, too. It's close to Edmonds quiet Main Street area with local shops and artists, but also less than 30 minutes from downtown Seattle (depending on traffic, of course).
To top this all off, the rates are very reasonable. The property manager was extremely friendly and communicative, giving check-in instructions and all other helpful information well before our arrival.
If I ever travel to the Seattle area with a group, I will definitely be staying here again!
I am a young professional and I stayed here in main house guest room. Being new the area and fresh out of college it was a great place for me to get my feet under me. The view was a bonus! And did I mention it was fully furnished! My room was better than you can get a hotel, slept like a rock. Bob the owner is a great host, and a very genuine person. His presents during my stay definitely added to my experience. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is new to the area and trying to get there feet on the ground!
