This brand new, luxury unit is located within a modern building set among historic row houses in Boston's South End neighborhood and highlights a private roof deck with sweeping city views, a gas grill and patio furniture. Both bedrooms feature queen sized beds with generously sized closets and drawers. This unit is a perfect alternative to a large hotel room. The unit has a beautiful tile surround tub and shower combo on the bedroom level and an additional half bath on the main living / kitchen level. The generously sized gourmet kitchen with full breakfast bar is stocked with high-end cooking tools, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. The dining table seats four and the living room includes a 42' flat screen HD television (the television in the picture has been replaced). Located in the Worcester Square area of the South End, the unit is a 25 minute walk to the Boston Common, Fenway Park, and the shopping district on Newbury Street; the unit is also less than a 5 minute walk from Boston University Medical Center, and just a few steps from great food including highly regarded tapas restaurant Toro. Central heating and air conditioning will keep you comfortable regardless of the weather, and nearby stops on the Orange and Silver MBTA lines will keep you connected to everything the Boston area has to offer.

We have prepared for your stay so that you don't need to interact with us at all during your stay. You have complete privacy. We use code locks, not keys, so you can check in at any time after the 4 pm check in time. You will have exclusive access to your unit as well as shared access to the common laundry room in the basement, where laundry facilities are free of charge.
You will receive an email from our management company, Short Term Rentals Boston, with access codes and information about the building and unit. We enjoyed the apartment for our trip to Boston. The neighborhood feel was a nice change from a hotel. The apartment included extra linens which was helpful. The place sleeps 4 comfortably, though only has 3 bar stools and no other real place to sit down besides a bed or couch. The rooftop was amazing, and the balcony off the kitchen was also nice, though would have been better if there were chairs out there. All in all, a good place to stay. I was pleased they were so accommodating in allowing us to drop our luggage off before check in.
We stayed here with our 2 teenage boys in summer 2015. Good location and nice clean apartment. Best things -- the roof terrace, easy to get to transport, comfortable bedrooms and good bars and restaurants close buy (great breakfast at Diner just round the corner and fantastic tapas and wine bar right next door)

If you are looking for an affordably priced apartment in Boston, you may want to consider renting this space. The apartment is in a residential area just a few blocks from Boston Memorial. What you see online is what you can expect. It is a well-mainted 2 BR apartment, 1.5 half bath with both a LR and rooftop porch. What I appreciated most though is that the building has its own alley with parking behind it. The parking is in addition though to the rate and spots need to be reserved in advance as they are limited. A few negatives to the apartment:
This is a walk up. There are 4 external flights you need to get up, so depending on how much luggage you bring you need to consider this. There are also two more flights of stairs in the apartment. This apartment is also very bare bones. For ex. Bath towels are super thin; they're seriously one level away from a paper towel. There were no hangers in the closets, bathrooms had burned out bulbs, no hand-towel in the half bath and you will only receive one roll of toilet paper per BR. There is a 7/11 around the corner though for items you may need. As far as booking, that process was not the best experience. I had to inquire twice before I received an email back. Once they did respond, booking was simple but no contract was ever emailed which is a bit unnerving.. Two days prior to arrival, they emailed me arrival instructions. Honestly, this should be a little further in advance. By the time I got the info, I was traveling and when I did retrieve it the day before, I had questions. I have to say that this put me a little on edge as I was traveling with 3 kids and wanted to make sure all was set. One of the main issues that I had was with the parking. When I booked the apartment, the site info simply read that parking was available and needed to be reserved in advance. There was no mention whatsoever of an additional fee. In the end, we ended up paying $25/day more.
This was our first visit to Boston and we were 2 couples looking to share a space. The size and layout of the unit was great. We also enjoyed having our own rooftop patio. We drove to Boston and parked our car in the spot behind the building for the weekend. We were in the top floor unit and it involved a lot of stairs which was a bit of a pain when carrying luggage. We also had a hard time finding the particular unit since there were many doors that were not indicated. Some were utility closets. We were able to walk to Copley Square and chose to cab it to downtown. Cab rides were appx $12. Surprisingly, cab drivers were not very familiar with the city and had to use their gps to find the adresses we gave them to downtown location. They were not always friendly and we had a very bad experience with one who was aggressive and seemed to be under the influence of something.
Staying in this location gave us the chance to explore a part of the city that we would not have visited had we stayed downtown. We enjoyed many of the local authentic restaurants in the area. The condo was clean but considering that it is newly renovated, I was surprised at the scuff marks on the walls. We didn't cook a lot while we were there but found what we needed except for a kettle. Being an avid tea drinker I found it a pain to boil water in a pot.
There was an issue with billing as we got charged twice for the parking space but the manager/owner was very accomodating and stopped by the condo to give us a refund. Overall, agreat experience and I would recommend it.
Unit looks as nice as it does in the pictures. In fact, there are features not highlighted in the listing that make the place even more special:
The rooftop deck is amazing - comfortable place to sit in the morning or to watch the sunset and take in the skyline. Truly the best feature of the place.
Balcony doors open wide onto living room - lovely!
Several eateries are within steps of the place, Mike's for breakfast, Toro for tapas, Flour for treats.
Details in kitchen are amazing; counters, cabinets, appliances all top of the line.
Full size washer dryer meant we could bring only carryon luggage. Huge time saver!
Only a few negatives:
The bathroom needs both an additional towel rod and better quality towels.
There is a lovely grill on the deck, but no grilling tools. Even a set of tongs would be enough.
The kitchen is wonderful, but this is the first rental we have ever visited with no salt and pepper or any spices. Sounds silly, but it delayed dinner the first night.
Sheets are a bit worn, and are ready to be replaced. Duvet was not cleaned.
Stairs to the unit are very steep. Not much of an issue once you are inside, but navigating the first few flights with luggage, groceries, etc was a challenge.
TV only has local channels. No cable news, sports, etc. No DVD player either - should have one or the other for rainy days.
Finally, there was no welcome book outlining procedures for trash, location of supplies, instructions for roof hatch, etc
