This South End 2 bedroom has 1.5 baths and is perfect for a group of 4-6 people coming to Boston for business or pleasure. The 2 bedrooms have queen beds as well as an additional sleeper couch in the living room. There is also a dining table with seating for 4 in the living room, with enough room to set up a crib for parents traveling with small children, in addition to the three barstools around the breakfast bar.
Short Term Rentals Boston (STRB) was founded by Will Avanessian and Brent Berc in 2011 with the goal of providing visitors of Boston with rental options for furnished apartments that combine the comfort, convenience and privacy of a home with the reliability of a professional management company. After experiencing the need for hotel alternative accommodations first-hand Will and Brent formed STRB to be both an economical and reliable solution in Boston. Our guests arrive in Boston knowing, not hoping, that they have rented a safe, clean and well-equipped apartment in the most sought-after neighborhoods in the city.
When our clients speak, we listen and proactively act on the requests that will benefit the customer experience as well as the building itself. To that end, we wanted to inform our clients, both past and future, of the improvements we made to East Springfield Unit #3.
It was brought to our attention, by our previous clients, that changes to the layout and additional amenities would greatly benefit the customer's experience and unit itself.
So, what did we do? First, we improved the design of the unit by creating a more flexible living and dining room area more suitable for a two bed unit. The new expandable dinning room table now allows for a pack and play crib to be set up, with ease, for those with small children. With this design change, we also added a sofa bed in order to keep the same sleeping capacity that was available before the renovation. In addition, we added central air conditioning, as well as a dedicated washer and dryer. With these improvements, we were, however, unable to keep the half bed in the unit.
Overall, we are very excited by the changes. We feel that the large financial investment and unit downtime have been entirely worth it. The end product is a big improvement for the unit and the Short Term Rentals Boston brand. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. There were several restaurants within walking distance as well as 7-11 and walgreens. The bus stop was very close and the subway was about 3 city blocks away. We used uber and public transportation and walked to get around. It was HOT when we were there, so the new AC was great and kept the place cool. Really great location. Quiet, safe neighborhood but generally close to everywhere we wanted to go. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Boston.
The unit was so much more than we expected. We were a group of four adults and the size of the unit was just fine for us. It was very clean and very easy to access. Everything in the unit was in perfect working order. Plenty of towels and linens too, the kitchen was also well stocked with dishes for cooking and eating, although we did not cook, just used the coffee maker each morning. The neighborhood was very quiet and we always felt safe. We walked to Fenway Park, Boston Common, and the Harbor, it was about a 2 mile walk to each location. Walking doesn't bother us, but after a day of walking we did Uber back to the apartment after dinner near the Harbor one night. It was just a simple $8.50 fare. We were all very happy with our stay in the unit and would recommend it to anyone who is considering staying here.
We stayed 2 nights with my mother and teenage son. The apt was clean and comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows and the management was very responsive to my questions. The area was safe, quiet and had a couple of restaurants and stores near by. The only down sides where the second set of steep stairs on the inside of the building not for anyone with mobility issues and the A/C worked but didn't put out much cold air, which wasn't a big problem for us as it wasn't hot when we were there. They did have two big floor fans which helped to circulate the air in the apt. Overall we were very happy with our experience and would stay there again.
The apartment was great. The description of what to expect was correct. Although the major attractions where not in walking distance, it was very close to the bus or subway. I was very happy about my stay.
We stayed for four nights for the Boston marathon - our friend was running in it. The location was only a 10 minute walk from the finish line and a 15 minute walk to the nearest Trader Joe's. The apartment we stayed in was amazingly spacious with 2 full baths. 5 adults stayed there comfortably with one of them staying on an aerobed. Kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of linens. Everything was relatively clean and we felt very safe walking around at night. It was a bit pricey (but we were there during a major event) but it was well worth the money. Would definitely recommend it to friends and look forward to staying there again.
We traveled with my mother in law and our 1 year old son, place was great and easy to acces. Place is exactly like the pictures, no surprise! We walk everywhere, from the appartment to boaton common it is about 20 minutes, easy to do! Only sownside, parking is cery difficult to find!
The South End is one of Boston’s trendiest neighborhoods boasting some of Boston’s best restaurants and night life, great access to public transit, and is conveniently located within a 20 minute walk to most of Boston’s best tourist locations including Fenway Park, the Charles River, the Freedom Trail and the Boston Common.
