This is a quiet, pleasant location yet only a short drive to Hanover, nh.
This house is 6 miles to Dartmouth College so is ideal for being close to Hanover,NH for Dartmouth sporting or alumni events.
We had a great time. There was a bump with the heating system and the owner responding quickly and took care of the situation and us. We don't normally ski VT but after this trip I have a strong feeling we will be back.
The photos don't do it justice. The house is clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 4. The basement den was a nice bonus. Owner was very considerate and helpful. We plan on returning.
Great place to stay in the upper valley. Lots of room and had all amenities. Great to have a washer and dryer. Loved the fact that all condiments were available. Really, just like being at home...loved it. Wonderful to have yard for dog to roam around. Will try to stay again on our next trip to Hanover.
I really liked the fact that cell service was not available but there was a house phone if you really needed to make or receive calls there. Once you leave the house and travel a short distance toward town cell service is again available. The house has WIFI but I didn't bother trying it out. Everything was well kept and quite comfortable. There were linens and towels, plenty of soap, cleaners, toilet paper and even laundry detergent (yes there is a washer and dryer, very convenient) but bring shampoo. If you have a small child bring a gate to block them from climbing stairs to second floor, we also blocked the basement door with a chair to keep 15 month old from opening the door. We had a great time and really enjoyed the peace and quiet at the house while still being close enough to get everything we could want or need. Also, house is dog friendly which made our pups quite happy and they never left the first floor.
A few friends and I recently stayed at this house and it was perfect in every sense of the word. We easily were able to sleep seven people and the house was incredibly spacious. The owner was easy to contact and was great at helping us get set up. The pictures don't do this house justice, it was beautiful and if I ever need a place to stay again I will definitely be staying here. Thanks for a great weekend!
