Fully and beautifully furnished home, with living area on second floor, bedrooms at ground and lower level. Hot tub, large deck with teak dining table that seats 8 and gas grill. Cook's kitchen with SubZero and 6 burner gas stove. Lots of light, with comfy nooks for playing board games or reading. Only a short walk from Chair 8 (skiing) or the Gondola (year round transportation to Mountain Village).
We are a blended family, with four grown kids and seven grandchildren. We live in Houston, Colorado Springs and Kansas City. We all love the outdoors, so time in Telluride together is very special.

The owners have been vacationing in Telluride for a dozen years, and plan to spend significant time in Telluride once we retire. This home was just what we were looking for -- in town, near amenities. We love fly-fishing, golf, skiing, and hiking without the pressure of crowds.
Mountain houses can sometimes be dark because the sun does go down 'early,' especially in winter. This home is special because of thoughtfully placed windows that provide views and light. It seems to us that everything in the house was carefully selected for quality and comfort.
We stayed at the house for a week over Presidents Day weekend, and we could not have been happier with the house or with the owner. The house has a great location, just a short walk to restaurants and the gondola. It is in impeccable shape, and the finishings are top notch in every room, including the kitchen and bathrooms. Most importantly, the house feels like a home, and the owner makes sure you feel like the house is yours for the week. My whole family looks forward to returning to Telluride next year, and we would not think of staying anywhere else.
When you think of a dream ski house, this is pretty much what you picture. The interior was tastefully decorated in the spirit of a ski town. A great little couch/nook in the breakfast area to sit and enjoy coffee and stare at the amazing view of the sun rising over Telluride. The home provides an amazing kitchen with all new appliances and a huge kitchen table that can seat the whole family (and then some). In a great location in downtown Telluride just a few steps from the slopes. Owners were extremely friendly and catered to both my schedule and arrival needs. This home is truly a gem for those that find it.
Have been doing 1-2 month rentals in Telluride for 12 winters and this is the best property we have found. Great location in the center of town, terrific views and outdoor space, and a layout that works perfectly for entertaining and everyday living. The house is very well stocked, and new owner was extremely cooperative in immediately addressing our needs. Trying not to be too effusive in my review, as we hope to return next winter.
Telluride offers the benefits of small town life in a spectacular natural setting; a place to regain your balance and reconnect with family and friends. In the summertime, weekly festivals (e.g., film, wine, music) add interest and a cultural element to the natural beauty and entertainment value of the area.
Start any day with a coffee and pastry from Baked in Telluride, then work off the calories with a hike up Bear Creek. Enjoy lunch at any one of the casual restaurants that line Colorado Avenue, a stroll past shops, and then head home to spend an hour reading and snoozing on the sunny deck. In the summertime, grill dinner and watch the sun go down from that same deck. In the winter, walk under a starry sky to the cozy Telluride Bistro for an Italian dinner served by a knowledgeable and friendly wait staff.
Fly-fish in the river that flows through town, or venture out to the Dolores with an experienced guide. When the snow arrives, you'll be pleased to find lift lines are nearly non-existent, and the ski mountain has runs to suit every level of skier.
Telluride is truly a unique place, not accessible to everyone, but the few that get there never want to leave.
