Our 1 bedroom apartment has been beautifully modernised and is ideal for a holiday or business trip. There's a large open plan living room with high oak beamed ceilings and new parquet flooring throughout; along with original art and 2 large newly double glazed windows it has a light, spacious and stylish feel. There's a luxurious leather sofa bed and plenty of seating to relax in after a day at the shops, beach or a congress. The kitchen has everything you'll need including cooker, fridge, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and not to forget a choice of 2 coffee machines. For entertainment there's cable TV/DVD and free 10Mb WiFi. The bedroom has two single beds, plenty of storage, full A/C and a stone tiled en-suite shower room and WC, there's also an extra toilet off the main living room. The location's fantastic, opposite is the shopping on Rue Meynardier, 50m to Rue d'Antibes, 100m to Croisette, Palais and the harbour side restaurants & 200m to the train station and beaches.

  • The en-suite shower room is stylishly tiled in stone on the floor and walls. There is a WC, large basin and shower cubicle. For extra convenience there is a separate WC off the main living room.

Lovely clean apartment with easy access to shops

We stayed for 5 nights at this property and were impressed with the location, cleanliness and size of the apartment. We experienced a bit of an emergency situation on the first morning and after a call to the agents, they had a staff member onsite within a few minutes to resolve.

Ideally located for all shops and only a 5 minute walk from the beech.

Would highly recommend.

A great pied-à-terre in the middle of Cannes

The premises were as described and lovely. Although there was no photo of the bathroom, my worries about its appearance were unfounded. Compact but thoroughly serviceable. The kitchen facilities were great, and the welcome basket was both a surprise and much appreciated. The unit was clean and the local agent in charge (Cécile) was very helpful in setting up the Internet and replacing a couple of burnt out light bulbs. David the owner is a delight to work with and I will look forward to booking the apartment again (if it is available) the next time I am in Cannes.

Great location, great people

We came for the film festival and market, and this location was incredible -- 200 yards to the Palais, 10 yards to a wonderful bakery, 30 yards to a market, restaurants everywhere you turn. It's not fancy, but it's comfortable, and the owner and the agent were always ready to help; everything we asked, they did. My only complaint: I'd suggest stocking a few kitchen towels (and I know that David and Suzy would have taken care of that had we asked). We were nervous about booking overseas, never having done it, and this experience erased that nervousness. I'd recommend this apartment, and the people renting it, to anybody; and we'd rent it again in a heartbeat. 5 stars.

The apartment is perfect as can be seen in the photos. Centrally located, near the sea, there is a supermarket within walking distance and the train station 5 minutes. Equipped with every comfort.

The owner was very helpful nell'accontentare all our requests and the reception site was very efficient.

Great holiday

I'm happy to confirm that the three of us (my mum, my child and myself) had actually a terrific time! We are from Milan, we spent 10 days between July and August and we enjoied old town, clubbing, sea, islands, people, surrounding (the heart of Mougins is so close and so charming) and of course we enjoied this flat. We felt home: well equipped, perfect location (in the very heart but peaceful) and warm atmosphere. Mostly appreciated the complimentary package and the small book of suggestions under the tv, a touch of class and care! Not to mention David (the owner) and Suzy (our local contact), they were always kind and helpful. We expected just a trendy city and almost found a place to live in! The apartment is on Rue Marechal Joffre, opposite the atmospheric shopping on Rue Meynardier with everything from the Champion supermarket 50m away and tempting deli's to the Forville market. The famous Rue d'Antibes is 50m away and the Palais des Festivals, home to the Cannes Film Festival, just 2 mins stroll (200m) from the front door. All the best restaurants of Le Suquet and the Old Port are no more than a few minutes walk away as are the millionaires yachts moored in the harbour. The nearest beaches are a 5 minute stroll along the Croisette and if you fancy a trip up the coast to Antibes, Monaco or Nice the train station is just 250m away. Absolutely everything you need for a trip to Cannes is right on your doorstep, don't waste any time with taxis and walking too far, you can really relax in this great location and super central base.
