Relax on the spacious private lanai while looking out over the white sandy beach toward the island of Molokai and Black Rock. The bedroom contains two double beds. In addition, there is a queen-size Murphy bed in the living room, allowing 4 people to sleep comfortably. The bathroom has a combination tub/shower. There is a fully equipped kitchen, complete with all cookware.

The large open lanai extends across the entire unit, offering expansive views to the ocean, the neighboring island of Molokai, and the West Maui mountains. The resort grounds include a large beautifully landscaped central courtyard with large koi pond and waterfall, beachside swimming pool and spa, and 5 gourmet gas grills with tables for preparing and eating meals at the grills. Other amenities include 24 hour front desk service, spa and fitness center with sauna, business center, a concierge activities coordinator, free pool towel service, free tennis courts, and 24 hour security service. The Whaler is right next door to Whalers Village, which offers a wide array of shopping and dining. There is a wonderful ocean front beach walk all along the length of Kaanapali Beach, which connects all of the other great luxury hotels on the same stretch of beach, including Hyatt, Marriott, Westin Maui, Kaanapali Beach Hotel and Sheraton.

WINNING!

This condo is stunning! My wife and I try to spend two weeks in Maui every year, and I assure you that we have found our permanent residence. Great owner, great price, and immaculately kept. The pictures don’t give this condo's size justice. This unit is 100% newly remodeled, with a kitchen that has everything you need for preparing meals. My wife and I enjoyed starting our mornings with breakfast and coffee on the balcony while listening to the waves. You will be just steps from Kaaanapali Beach, with numerous restaurants along the beach front. The living room offers a large flat screen TV, with a really comfortable couch to just lounge and unwind. If you like good food and beer, Maui Brewing Company and Kohola Brewery are just down the road or an $8 Lyft ride away. In addition to the AMAZING condo itself, we found the Whaler Resort and staff to be welcoming and friendly. Gym was better than most resorts, offering you many options. Parking was never an issue, and the pool was a fun change from the beach for nightly dips.

Perhaps one of the most impressive part about this condo was Laura. She was amazing to deal with during the booking. Last minute, our flight home got moved from 3 to 10pm. Laura was great and immediately contacted the Whaler and set us up for a late check out, with no questions asked - something we were so thankful for. Also, Laura has a second unit, #811, in building B that looks just a nice. So if you want to change up the view year to year with this amazing host, it’s definitely an option.

Comfortable Unit in Great Location

This was our fourth visit to the Whaler, and this unit was the nicest we have stayed at. It was very well equipped and comfortable for four people. The location is amazing - with easy access to the pool, beach, snorkling, and dining. The best part was sitting out on the lanai, enjoying the beautiful view and hearing the surf - we did this several times a day!

All the convenience and comforts in a glorious setting.

Outstanding views, all the convenience of home, everything is handy and close by. Property is continuously maintained and is impeccable. Staff are friendly and courteous like most Hawaiians in Maui. Owner of the apartment is a gracious host. We are booking for next year right away!

Wonderful property that will not dissapoint in any

We've traveled to most of the islands and are always a bit leery of owner descriptions. This property is more then we expected. The overall condition was excellent and the view from the living and bedroom patios was fantastic.

The unit is on the 5th floor and as close to the oceanfront as possible. The beach and Whaler Village were just outside the door and offered all the necessary conveniences within a very short walk.

The unit is equipped with everything one would need with washer/dryer (free) just a few steps down the hall. There are beach chairs and coolers available which was a nice touch.

The pool area and grounds are great and offered a great alternative to the ocean when wanted.

We used the conditioning gym and were impressed with the multitude of equipment available.

The staff were all gracious and check-in went smoothly.
