ATTENTION: 1) Faced with an ongoing furor over traffic congestion and so-called “road diets,” Los Angeles officials announced they will restore car lanes removed from two Playa del Rey boulevards earlier this year.

This is a beach condo that I purchased for occasional use. I was always in love with this location in Playa del Rey by the Ocean and Canal.
In Playa del Rey you feel that you are not in LA, that you are really in a beach resort. This condo has an ideal location, by the bike path and Canal and 100 fts to the sand.
The apartment was well equipped, very clean in an excellent location and the amenities very close by. Found the owner to be very welcoming and I will be looking forward to booking again this year.
This was truly the perfect stay in the perfect location.
The apartment is clean, spacious, cozy, and right in the heart of Playa del Rey.
Every day felt like a vacation.
The beach is literally steps away, and the bike path is right there, too--an easy walk or ride to Marina del Rey and Venice in one direction, or Manhattan Beach in the other.
Estela and Hugo were excellent hosts; they were always reachable and attentive, and had a fantastic welcome of fresh fruit and even a bottle of wine.
They also let us use their bikes for cruising up and down the coast.
I have to say: I'm sorry I had to leave!
An amazing month and half in a perfect, modern, completely equipped, lighty apartment with views to the sealine. Perfect for a couple with one child. Parking slot included. Pictures do not exagerate the nice properties of this apertment (unlike other posts).
My wife and I rented this beautiful one bedroom apartment to spend several weeks with our children in Culver City, only 10 minutes away or a beautiful 30 minute bike ride along the Ballona Creek. The location was extraordinary, looking north toward Marina del Rey and Santa Monica with the Ballona Creek at our doorstep and the beach 20 steps away plus the bike path to the south and north (and east) out our door -- all of it combined to a perfect several week stay. The owners were most gracious and the apartment itself is very,very comfortable, spotless and well equipped. We have asked the owners to reserve for us again next year.
This was our second stay. We stayed here in July during the birth of our grand daughter. This time we came back to babysit for 5 weeks while our daughter returned to work. The location was perfect for us and would be good for anyone wanting to be at the beach and tour the LA area. The condo is less the 10 minutes from the Freeway, Venice Beach, Manhattan Beach and the airport. The bike path gives you walking access to Marina Del Rey and miles of beach. Out your window you get to see the sailboats going in and out the marina channel, fishermen, kayakers, practicing crew teams, bird watchers, bikers and runners. The sunsets and sun rises are spectacular. I don't think there is a better views anywhere in the south bay area.
The condo was roomy clean and comfortable. We used the kitchen for a lot of meals The appliances, cabinets and dishes were all in good condition. If you want to go out to eat, Playa Del Rey has over a half dozen restaurants within walking distance for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The 4 different ones we ate at were very good.
The condo has indoor gated parking so you never have to worry about a parking spot or moving your car for street cleaning. Having a clothes washer and drier was great our extended stay.
W have already recommended the place and hope to stay again on our next visit.
My husband and I rent various places in the area thoughout the year due to work, so we've seen a lot of what's out there- so we were so happy to have found Estela's great beach pad! Clean, modern and very roomy, with a good functional kitchen, convenient two space parking in the garage, and best of all, a great location right at the jetty, steps to the beach. Incredible sunset views every evening as you'll watch the boats returning to the marina at the end of the day. Also walking distance to some good restaurants like Tripel, Caffe Penguini and for breakfast, Cafe Milan or Señor G's for huevos rancheros or their fresh juice bar . Estela was friendly, accommodating and easy to reach - we would definitely stay here again.
