This low density complex, (only 59 condos) means the beaches are less crowded than the larger complexes. This location is on the ground floor, no elevators or stairs to use to carry your luggage or access the beach. Our condo offers gulf views and is conveniently located within WALKING distance to the State Park Pier and beachfront restaurants including Sea and Suds, Pink Pony and the Hangout. Island Shores is centrally located approximately 1/2 mile east from Gulf Shores Public Beach where Highway 59 ends and approximately 1/2 mile from the State Fishing Pier.
This is an end corner unit 3 bedroom 3 bath condo on the east side of building right on the scenic east beach with many windows.

Our family are original owners of this beachfront condo. We have enjoyed many vacations in Gulf Shores and we are always excited to see the new attractions to visit beyond the beach. Gulf Shores is a great place to build family memories. We always wish we could spend more time there.

We love the location of Island Shores directly on the beach with great views. We love to walk the beach as this condo is located between the State Park Pier and the Gulf Shores Public Beach with many great restaurants. Walking to destinations is very convenient. Our condo has been renovated and redecorated recently.
The ground floor access and beach view attracted our family to buy this condo before the building was built, no stairs or elevators. This is an end unit with 3 bedroom and 3 bathrooms, with easy beach and pool access.
Also very easy to walk to beach attractions, restaruants and shops.
This is our second stay at this condo, Barb was prompt to reply to our inquiries as well as recommending excellent places to visit in the area. The condo was clean and bright and had all the things we needed, loved the updates since our last visit.
Blue Angels practice flight path is between the condo and beach (super cool), Big Beach Brewing is excellent as well as Sail Wild Hearts Catamaran sunset cruise was so much fun! Walking to Sea and Suds for dinner and drinks...perfect!
Looking forward to next trip to Gulf Shores and will be booking this property again.
This is our second time staying here and we love it. Great view of the beach and great location.
The location was perfect - far enough away from the Shrimp Festival (10/13 - 10/16) to avoid the noise but close enough to walk to and enjoy the sights, sounds and wonderful aroma of the food.
Watching the sunrise and sunsets from the patio was the best part. The condo is well equipped and very cozy. The beds are very comfortable! The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. I would love to come back with my family!

Our family arrived late on Saturday night and was greeted with a very homey and comfortable condo. With the first floor right on the beach we could hear he surf calling us in the morning. The condo was well equipped with all that we needed and was a home for a week. Our family would definitely liked to go back and rent this again.
Two friends and I had a Gal Pal reunion! This condo made it perfect! Parking was a breeze and with the condo being on the ground level it made unpacking really hassle free. The condo itself sits right on the beach and it is literally 60 seconds walking to the beach! It has 2 very spacious bedrooms and a third smaller one, perfect for kiddos or even two adults. It's interior was clean, comfortable and nicely furnished with leather sofas and a big round table to accommodate everyone. The balcony overlooks the beach and has an additional table for sipping wine or a beer and soaking up the Gulf Breezes. The condo is equipped with beach chairs, sunscreen, beach toys and boogie boards which we made good use of! Best of all, it is an easy walk to the soft white sand! If you need a break from the beach there's a swimming pool again, just a few steps away. There's an onsite laundry that I didn't need but would come in handy with kids. It's a short distance to a variety of restaurants. I found it to be a convenient, beautiful location and a perfect condo to enjoy with friends and still have some quiet privacy to unwind. I would definitely go there again!
Gulf Shores offers sugar white sandy beaches, excellent state fishing pier and deep sea fishing, boating, scuba diving, snorkeling, boogie boarding, golf, tennis, water parks, interactive zoo, dolphin cruises,go carts, fine arts, shopping, restaurants, nature trails, bike, stand up paddleboards and kayak rentals available.
*watch for dolphins playing, rolling and swimming from the balcony- usually early am and dinnertime on calm days
Island Shores in Gulf Shores is an excellent destination for families as it is very conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the State Park fishing pier.
