Newly remodeled 1 bedroom, 2 full bath 900 square foot ground floor condo with tile floors throughout and ceiling fans in each area to help keep it cool. This unit has a full kitchen with all appliances and cookware needed. Gas grill on the lanai provided as well as a table that seats 6, also a dining room table indoors. Master bedroom has a queen size bed, full bathroom with a walk in shower. The over-sized living area has a sleeper sofa with the best view in the unit. Perfect condo for a family or 2 couples on vacation together. We also have a queen size aero bed in the unit for any extra guests. All linens provided. Tax ID W49778524-01

We love the unit for many reasons. Our favorite is the view from the lanai of the water and great sunsets. We find ourselves spending a lot of time out there. We love eating dinner out there every night. Enjoy.
My wife and I enjoyed this condo which overlooked Keahou Bay near Kona which is about 30 minutes away. You can see the Bay in the distance over beautiful flowering shrubs as well as hear the surf (the waves were high when we were there), and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The condo is easy to get to from the airport, although I would suggest turning right at the 6 ½ mile marker rather than after the flashing speed limit sign. The condo is on the main floor, so no stairs to climb, and next to the pool. Most of the residents in the condo seemed to be retired seniors (which I am) and my wife felt welcomed when she spent time at the pool chatting with the other residents. So the condo was quiet and the traffic noise barely discernible. You are about a 10 minute walk from the Sheraton Hotel down the hill and the marina where many excursions, such as to Captain Cook Bay, take place. Around the Sheraton and nearby there were many interesting archaeological ruins. A snorkeling beach is about 15 minutes away. The sandy beaches are about 1 1/2 hours north, the City of Refuge (bring along your national park pass to park free) along with a great snorkeling area about 1 ½ hours south, and the volcano park about 2 hours south, so we felt the condo well located. It does take time to get to places due to the low speed limits and traffic. The condo is well stocked and included beach towels, mats, snorkeling gear and a beach chair (I would suggest having 2 beach chairs). My wife and I enjoy morning walks and there is a nice 2 mile loop that takes you down to the Bay and back. The furnishings are dated but comfortable and for the price we felt the condo was a very good deal. There were ample kitchen supplies but I needed more than the 4 dishwashing gel tabs for my week stay (which is why I always bring my own supply of dish and clothes washing soap, although the latter was in ample supply). There is no AC, fans compensating for this, so night could be a little warm but the bed was comfortable and my wife and I slept well. The owners were very responsive whenever I needed to contact them. I would definitely return and rate it as 4 stars only because I can’t afford a 5 star place.

We had a great time in this condo. It was clean and we found everything we needed for regular breakfast/lunch/dinner needs.
We especially liked having the grill and grill utensils, and ate most of our meals on the lanai. Our 1-1/2-year-old daughter loved seeing geckos on the lanai. (But they were not in the house).
It was really close to Keauhou Bay, and we walked to the park there, the Akule Co. Cafe and the luau at the Sheraton.
It worked out great for us and our little one (plenty of room in the bedroom to set up her pack and play), but the one drawback for little ones is that both bathrooms just have a shower. We made do with the kitchen sink, but it's something I realized after we booked (the description says "showers" so it's my fault).
Our favorite place was Kahalu'u Beach, which has great snorkeling and was also a good place for the little one in the ocean. It's also only about a mile away if you wanted to walk/run and then enjoy the beach.
Owners were great to deal with. Kitchen was very clean, organized, and well-equipped. Beach chairs, towels, coolers, etc. are provided. Bed (although small) and pillows were comfortable. Mattress and/or cover were a bit noisy when rolling over. Loved the private lanai off the living area, as well as our own bbq and patio set. Beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. Big windows let in lots of natural light and allowed for a nice breeze and view. Walking distance to groceries, shopping, a coffee shop, and a great spot on the ocean to enjoy the sunset. Short drive into Kona's restaurant and shopping district. Unit is close to a road but traffic is slow and not overly busy. Nice pool on site.
This apartment was amazing! The parking was easy, the pool was right next door, and the golf course was RIGHT outside your lanai (Balcony).
It has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, full fridge, and a BBQ outside.
The only reason I didnt give it a 5 was because there was no AC. if there was and I couldnt find it, my fault.
I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Great price, owners are VERY responsive and curtious.
Our condo is located on the south side of Alii drive in Keauhou Akahi. We are located 15 miles south of Kona International airport. A rental car is recommended, a taxi ride is roughly $45. This perfect location offers shopping, a grocery store, restaurants, cinemas and 2 golf courses. The Fair Wind cruises (the best snorkeling cruise on the big island) and Hula Kai adventures as well as Keauhou Bay and Kahaluu Beach Park snorkeling all within walking distance....
