High spec 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment - sleeps 4 to 5 persons max

A luxurious, 2 bed/2 bath, 2nd floor apartment with swimming pools, gardens, lift, private garage parking, Quite simply the best location with stunning views overlooking the old town of Lagos. A 5 minute stroll brings you to the centre of town with its shops, bars, restaurants and cosmopolitan marina. Within 10 minutes walk of the apartment, you have a choice of several beaches including one of the Algarve's famous beaches, Praia Dona Ana. The apartment has been furnished with style, quality and comfort in mind. The spacious living area features 2 sofas, flat screen TV with Sky TV and DVD/CD. The indoor dining area has a large table providing ample space for 6. The master bedroom has a super king size bed and the 2nd bedroom has 2 full size singles. Both have fitted wardrobes, dressing table/chest of drawers and direct access to the rear terrace. The modern fully fitted kitchen is well equipped and has direct access to the large main terrace with BBQ and comfortable alfresco dining.

Golf: The Algarve is famous for golf and within 30 minutes of this apartment is the world famous Penina golf course. More locally, within a 10 minute drive, you have numerous spectacular courses including Parque da Floresta, Belavista, Palmares and Boavista. Boavista is the closest course being just a few minutes’ drive away and if there are any non-golfers in the party or you fancy a day off, there are excellent leisure facilities where you can spend hours in the gym/indoor pool and pampering yourself in the spa before meeting at the 19th hole in the state-of-the-art clubhouse or perhaps one of the two excellent restaurants. The apartment has a secure underground car park with lift access to the apartment making the logistics involved with golf clubs much easier. There is room to stand clubs in the spacious entrance hall or you can stand them out of the way on the covered terrace.

Eating in or out: Eating out in Lagos is a genuine pleasure as there is something for every taste and pocket. You really are spoilt for choice whether you are looking for traditional Portuguese dishes, Mediterranean cuisine or other familiar menus including Italian, Chinese and Indian. You can choose from more formal restaurants to bistros to pavement cafés where the value for money will certainly impress. If you want to venture out to one of the local supermarkets or the daily fish market on the sea front to choose your own fresh produce, you can take advantage of full alfresco dining on the balcony whilst enjoying a superb view over the town. The apartment has excellent kitchen facilities and an electric grill/BBQ is provided for use on the balcony terrace. Alternatively, there are several places within a few minutes’ walk of the apartment offering traditional grilled chicken and meats, pizzas and other superb takeaway dishes.

Assistance and services: The owners employ the services of a professional property management company. As well as providing a re-assuring and local point of contact for our guests during their stay, the management company can also arrange useful services such as babysitting, shopping, welcome packs, additional maid services etc. Please contact the owners for further details.

Great appartment, great location

Really good apartment in a quiet location just on the edge of the old town of Lagos.

Accommodation was of high standard and quality; comfortable beds, well sized rooms, good A/C and well equipped kitchen.

Loved the fact that you could catch a view of the sea from the balcony and we really enjoyed cooking outside on the electric BBQ (lots of tasty fish).

Communication with Tony whilst planning our stay was OK.

Recommended.

Great Location

Just got back from my vacation to Lagos. What a memorable vacation it was. The location of the apartment was ideal. Just outside the town walls, you will enjoy a quiet, clean, and spacious apartment with all the amenities (AC, cable TV, dishwasher, washing machine). You have super markets -small and large within walking distance. The town itself is walking distance, you get in some good exercise walking around without even realizing it. I felt that God had truly blessed us with this rental as I was venturing into unknown territory looking for a vacation spot. I highly recommend it and hope to return back. I had a car so I was able to venture around Algarve. What a beautiful region! I would recommend going to Sagres (lighthouse), staying at the Beliche beach along the road to the lighthouse, driving to the other beaches of Carvoiero and Praia da Rocha (30 minutes east of Lagos) or just stay in Lagos. We had great and reasonably priced dinners at CampiMar restaurant at Praia do Mos. We used the pool area a few times at the apartment complex as well, again quiet and clean. The complex has ample parking outside or you can use the private garage. The only issue we had was that the second bathroom shower is very small and really not usable. But we did not really care. By the way, the Portuguese cable TV , MEO, has many English speaking channels with news, shows, and movies. Again, I highly recommend this apartment for the location and apartment itself. A true winner all around.

Fantastic choice

This was our first visit to Portugal and our choice of apartment couldn't have been better. Everything listed was as stated, the apartment is so spacious and maintained to a very high level. The communication we had with Tony & Sally was very good, as was the communication with the agent once we arrived. Could not fault how well equipped the apartment was, even down to a cupboard full of things for a beach day. We would certainly recommend this apartment to friends & family and even come back ourselves.

Would recommend the Adego Da Marina for traditional Portuguese food/atmosphere. The Garden Restaurant for its food and chilled-out approach. A must is the Restaurante A Choupana, which serves a great 'Suckling Pig' meal, but would recommend booking.

The boat trip to Grottos is good, best at low tide. Would recommend trip to Sagres, Silves, St Vincent (for the sunset). Loads of beaches to choose from, all of which are great.

Walk into town was about 10 mins, and each time we seemed to come back a different route.

All-in-all a great base from which to explore Lagos and surrounding areas.

Fantastic apartment, fantastic location!

Great apartment - Relaxing holiday

My wife and I were lucky enough to stay at Tony & Sally's apartment for 14 days and enjoyed a memorable and relaxing holiday, in Lagos.

The apartment is really lovely and very spacious. In a relatively quiet location, it’s modern, light and bright and very well appointed. Access to the town, its restaurants and its amazing beaches is extremely easy. It’s fully equipped with everything you need to have an enjoyable and stress free vacation. In addition, the pool is excellent. Beautiful and clean and anytime we were there, it was relatively quiet, with no problems sourcing a sun bed.

A special mention to Nicki at Algarve Resorts. We really didn’t need to contact her but it’s always reassuring to know someone capable is available to provide assistance, if required.

We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone thinking of holidaying in Lagos.

Great location

The apartment was fantastic, clean, well furnished and with all the facilities required for a self catering break. The pool area was well maintained and we always found sun loungers regardless of the time of day.

The apartment location was perfect for us being an active family to explore the beautiful town of Lagos. A short walk down to the old town restaurants, beaches within easy walking distance and supermarkets/shops close by. The bonus for us was the pro putting golf course opposite the apartment, the kids loved it and we had to go three or four times whilst we were there, although I did encourage this as I was trying to get the lowest score of the day to get my name on the board!

We all fell in love with Lagos and it's amazing beaches, and the apartment was a great base to enjoy this holiday from.

Excellent customer service from Nicki as well, who met us when we arrived by taxi to let us into the apartment.

The spacious master bedroom comes complete with a luxurious super-king size bed, matching bedside tables with lamps, fully fitted wardrobes with an abundance of hanging space as well as drawers and a dressing table with mirror and a chair.
