Nihilani is located on the North Shore in Princeville. Beautiful plantation style town homes set in paradise. Located within walking distance of six beaches, golfing, dining, sunsets, snorkeling, swimming (ocean or pool), and shopping. You will find this location perfect for all your adventures.

This 2-story, 3 bedroom (3rd bedroom/family room is not private), 2.5 bath, is 1,567 square feet, set in the quiet interior of the complex with a garden setting. Unique in character, it offers custom paint throughout, crown molding and high baseboards, granite slab counters, cream colored kitchen cabinets, upgraded lighting, and plantation shutters. With a split entry, upstairs level has the master suite with a California King bed, flat screen TV, soaking tub, double lavs, glass enclosed shower room, and large walk-in closet. Kitchen is fully equipped for the chef/baker, right down to the rolling pin. Dining area will seat six and has a slider door out to the lanai. Living room with flat screen TV, DVD/CD player and a selection of DVD"s, books, and map of the island for your viewing pleasure. There is a half bath in hallway off living room.

Downstairs has a private second bedroom with a queen-sized bed, flat screen TV and slider with lanai. The third bedroom/family room that is not private, has a queen sized bed, Day bed, desk, and laundry closet with full sized washer and dryer perfect for the children in your group. The downstairs bedrooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Hallway to access the large 2-car garage for parking your vehicle. Ceiling fans in all rooms, upper and lower levels, combined with portable fans and tropical breezes provide for a comfortable stay. We have a central air conditioning system that is available upon request at an additional flat rate.

We also provide all the outdoor necessities such as cooler, sand umbrella, two sand chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, sand pails and a linen closet with beach towels.

Free wireless internet & phone for local, mainland, Canada & Puerto Rico calls.

Nihilani's amenities include pool with waterfall, jacuzzi, covered BBQ rec area for your food prep with sink, large granite counter top, table & chairs. All in a lush tropical setting.

We backpacked Kauai 32 years ago on our honeymoon and have visited from time to time. The incredible beauty of the island of Kauai compelled us to eventually want to retire here. Combined with the wonderful church families and friends we've met there, the weather, beautiful beaches, hiking and the locally grown fruits & vegetables @ the farmers markets, we are looking forward to that day.

We had a lovely stay at this comfortable condominium. Great location.

This was our first visit to Hawaii. Kauai is a beautiful island and we loved our location in Princeville. The North Shore is lush and green and the beaches are beautiful. One thing to know is that beach access is not always easy. Parking is limited and trails can be very steep. While you can walk to a number of beaches from the condo, it is a mile plus in any direction. With kids et al, it's a little much. But we worked it out. Love that there was a grocery store right around the corner. And there's actually so much to do on the North and east Shores that we feel we could definitely stay in Princeville again and be totally happy.

Also note, that it is not a true three-bedroom. We did know this going in, but it is important to know that there is a private bedroom downstairs and a family room that is being used as a bedroom. Those two rooms together share a bathroom. Still very comfortable, clean and nice. Love the fact that the kitchen was stocked with some basic things, so you didn't have to worry about buying everything!

In all, it was a great place. Access was easy, the pool and hot tub lovely, the garage is big and the supplied beach gear and cooler were wonderful.

Owner's Response: Aloha Sarah, we are so glad you had a nice time in Princeville but are saddened that you think we mislead guests by calling our third bedroom/family room a bedroom. The picture of that room on our site notates third bedroom/family room and the fourth line in our information on the property says that room is not private We can sleep 6 but only two of the bedrooms are private. All the information is there with plenty of pictures for guests to view. We apologize that we didn't meet your expectations and hope your next trip to Kauai will be better yet. Mahalo

Nice Condo

The condo worked out great for our recent family vacation (3 couples). The unit was very clean and spacious, we understood the downstairs bedroom was not private before hand so we did not have any issues there and the extra half bath upstairs was nice to have. Gail was helpful and quick to answer questions. We were there in November and there was definitely no need to pay extra for the A/C, the breeze cooled off the unit plenty with the windows open (but we also had LOTS of rain, so maybe was cooler than normal). It was great having a full garage to use for the rental car and sandy beach items when we came home each day, and the pool/hot tub area was enjoyed by all as well.

I do agree with other reviewers that all the timers and motion sensors on the lights got a little annoying. We live on Maui so I understand the cost of electricity out here very well, but I think that just comes with the territory if you're renting out your home. On that same note, the water pressure was incredibly bad in both showers. Not sure if this was somehow "turned down" to conserve but you could hardly wash the shampoo out of your hair! Other than those small items, it was a great space and I would recommend this condo for others looking on the North Shore.

Great Location, Great Condo

The condo was equipped with all the amenities needed for our stay, down to beach equipment and detailed info on all things local. The pool area was very nice and quiet and had a small BBQ area we used to cook on one evening. This would be a great place for two couples or a group of friends/family, as there was plenty of room to stretch out and have space to yourselves while sharing a communal space. Gail was wonderful about communication and made sure the unit felt like home. Can't wait to go back!
