Great Lakes Pennsylvania Mobile Home Rental Photos and Description

3 bedroom vacation rental - Private on Large Lot

Large mobile home, renovated in 2012, on large mowed lot, 3 bedrooms, 1 queen size bed, 1 full and 2 twins. Entertainment: Satellite TV, and games. New central air and gas furnace. For your comfort, this property is suitable for 4 or 5 guests.

Summer rates are $135 per night based on double occupancy. Additional guests are $10 per night due to extra laundry, cleaning and supplies. Winter rates are $100 per night and same rule applies to extra guests.

Kitchen: Fully equipped with appliances including microwave, gas stove and refrigerator, toaster and coffee maker. Full kitchen with dishes and utensils. You just bring the food.

Bath: Master bath has large shower. 2nd bath has tub and shower surround. High Efficiency washer and dryer are located in a separate laundry room off the kitchen.

Outside features: On fairly busy road but private with plenty of off road parking. Near railroad tracks but separated by a large field. Front deck for just sitting and relaxing. Concrete pad under a carport so you can drive up to the door.

Recommended for vacationers, or short stays for family events in the area. There is always lots going on in this part of the country. Every season offers something new - summer and winter sports, entertainment, shopping, located in grape country. Plenty of wineries, one within walking distance. The property is on a large lot with lots of off road parking. You can be comfortable and assured of your privacy. Kind of like a little 'home away from home'.

About Marie Dingfelder

We are Alan and Marie Dingfelder. We have been married for 51 years and have 2 grown children and 1 grandson. We both grew up in Corry, PA and moved to North East 38 years ago. We live next door to the property. We are calling our vacation rental a guest house because that's just what it is. We have a pretty small house and when we have company from out of town, it is hard to know where to put them. When we renovated the property, we decided it would be a good idea to no longer rent it full time but to use it for our visiting family and guests. We like the results so much that we may at some point decide to move in there ourselves. We have settled on A & M Guest House for the name of the property. We would be happy to have you as our guests.

Why Marie Dingfelder chose Great Lakes Pennsylvania

There are some beautiful properties here in North East. Although our guest house is not on the beach, we think it is in a great location. We are about 3 miles out of North East and only 15 or 20 minutes from Erie. The town of North East has a lot to offer in quaint shops and popular yearly events like the North East Cherry Festival in July, the Wine Fest, Rib Fest, and others. The property is private with off road parking. The drawback is we are located near a railroad crossing. People either love or hate the trains. If you hate them and the noise from them, you may want to avoid our place.

What makes this mobile home unique

Centrally located between North East and Erie, PA. Keep in mind North East is the name of the town, not the location. We are located in the northwest corner of Pennsylvania. This property is completely remodeled inside and out. There is always lots going on in this part of the country. Every season offers something new - summer and winter sports, entertainment, shopping, located in grape country. The property is on a large lot with lots of off road parking. You can be comfortable and assured of your privacy. Kind of like a little 'home away from home'.

Lovely Long Weekend in Erie Pennsylvania

  • 5 of 5

We were planning to attend a wedding and visit with some wonderful friends in Erie, Pennsylvania and needed a place to stay with our two pups. We were blessed to have the opportunity to stay in this rental home! Upon arrival, the home is very clean and accommodated our every need and want. Very cozy and feels just like home :). The property is close enough to everything yet very private. The views were incredible and the yard is extremely well maintained. Plenty of room to walk the pups. It even has a cute firepit! It was a pleasure to meet Marie, she is absolutely amazing! This is the perfect place to stay while in Erie. We look forward to our next trip! Thank you!

Owner's Response: Thanks Marie, for your kind words. No one has ever left the place in better condition than you. That is always important to me, especially in the summer when things get so busy. I'm glad that you were pleased with the place and that you will consider coming back in the future. Enjoy the rest of your summer. I am still praying for rain. God bless. Marie

Everything was better than expected! Marie and Allen have truly thought of everything you may need while away from home! The place is absolutely beautiful! My son loved the big yard to play and enjoyed watching the trains pass by! We will definitely be returning!

Great Stay!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a great stay at the house. Marie and Allan thought of everything to make you feel comfortable and at home. If you forget anything, more than likely it will be at the house. Everything was very clean and tidy. This house worked out perfect for our family. There is a great front porch we sat on and drank our morning coffee, and even drank a few beers at night. The bedrooms were a bit tight, but it didn't really matter because we were usually outside or in the kitchen/living room area. The ONLY downfall is the trains can be quite noisy and they run through a lot but you get used to it. It is a big flat lot where kids and dogs can run around. Would definitely recommend this place to anybody going to the area! :)

Owner's Response: Thank you Nikki for the great review! We always wonder and worry about the trains and I'm glad you included your thoughts about them. It may help others considering our rental. You were very good guests and took really good care of the place. Your dog was also a very good guest and there was no evidence of a dog when you left. Thanks so much for caring for our place as you would your own. I hope you will remember us if you plan a trip to the area in the future. Thanks again! Marie

Clean, comfortable stay!

  • 5 of 5

We were very pleased with our stay! The house was spotless and had everything we could need for a week long stay! plenty of dishes, pots & pans, towels, a nice washer & dryer. etc. The owners were very nice when we had questions but otherwise left us to ourselves. The property was true to the description and the pictures are accurate. The furnace was a bit loud and there were frequent trains running but neither bothered us and we all slept peacefully. We didn't even notice if the trains actually ran all night. :)

We are hoping to make another trip to the area in the summer and plan to reserve the same house for our stay if it is available at that time!
