We invite you to read our reviews, then book your 30A vacation ... You'll feel the Good Vibrations!
Our home is three blocks from the 12,000 ft Seacrest Beach pool, just four blocks into Rosemary Beach shops and restaurants, five blocks to the beach, biking distance to other beach communities, a short drive to the magnificent Camp Creek (Fazio designed) golf course. 30A is a walker and biker's paradise.
Our goal is for our guests to fall in love with this house and the beautiful 30A beach towns, as we have. We will do everything possible to ensure you have a comfortable, memorable stay.
We work hard to ensure our guests have a happy and memorable family vacation. We are really touched to have many return visitors making Good Vibrations part of their annual family beach vacation.
Carrie Hoye purchased this house in 2012
'Good Vibrations' is in the perfect location. In Seacrest Beach, we can park our car and walk to the pool, the beach and to restaurants. Seacrest Beach is nestled between the beautiful communities of Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. Great restaurants are a few blocks walk from the cottage.
The natural beauty of 30A is incredible. If you love walking and biking, there are awesome trails and amazing sites along the coastal dunes. The beach is incredibly beautiful.
It is just a magical area. Do not miss the sunsets on the beach!
This house has a great layout -- everyone will have plenty of space and privacy. We prefer fewer renters in the home to keep a higher quality experience for those who stay here. It is absolutely perfect for family and friend gatherings, and we have tried to pay attention to every detail to make it special for your stay. It is sunny and light, open and airy -- you will walk in and feel the Good Vibrations!
We had such a wonderful time at Good Vibrations. The house was beautiful and we enjoyed such a homey atmosphere. We also loved your welcome gifts: Tervis Tumblers and postcards, and my eldest love the wine. All the rooms were nice and decorated much as we do at our own homes. Thank you again for sharing such a lovely home with us. We hope to rent from you again in the near future.
Thank you so much.
My family and I spent the week of Thanksgiving and very much enjoyed our stay. Great location in a cute neighborhood close to everything. Lots to do in a safe environment for the kids. It was my parents 50th wedding anniversary the same week, so we really made some memories. Very comfortable home with everything you need. We'll be back!
From the moment we walked through the door, the rest of the world seemed to slip away and it felt like vacation. The house was immaculately clean and everything in order. The owners, Carrie and Jeff, have a notebook that provides everything you need to know about your stay (they also send it to you via email in advance) from how to get access to the pool and the beach, the shuttle service, and recommendations for nearby restaurants and services.
We loved the layout of the house - our kids took the third floor and we stayed in one of the masters on the second floor. The other master on the second floor became a place to sit on the floor and play board games (all provided) and the first floor bedroom was used as a place to store our beach and pool tote bags so we didn't leave them on the porch and had access to them as we went out the back door to our bikes. The towels were perfectly soft and the linens crisp and clean. Drinking coffee and eating ice cream on the front porch or one of the many balconies was a common and pleasant way to spend time.
The kitchen was very nicely appointed with first class cutlery, utensils, etc., which made making meals in the home as easy as it is making meals at our own home. Everything needed to prepare a meal was there - all we had to do was buy the ingredients and prepare. I would liked to have made more meals there, but the house is so conveniently located to everything else we ended up eating at the various restaurants, all within a very short bike ride - even our four year old rode her bike with training wheels to every restaurant we went.
This was our first time to Seacrest and it was nice how everything was so close to the house. To get to the beach, you can either take one of the shuttles, but we found it much easier to just walk as it is only a 4-5 minute walk to the beach. We rented bikes for the week but could have gotten by just walking (but the bikes were way more fun and allowed us to venture to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach easier). We ate at La Cocina (avg mexican food), Crabby Steve's (above avg but surprisingly good service), Cowgirl Kitchen (for breakfast and dinner - my second favorite both in food and service), George's at Alys Beach (my favorite in food and service), Seacrest Sundries (great breakfast basket), Seacrust Pizza (avg), the donut/hot dog stand (avg), Acme ice House (above avg).
We truly enjoyed our stay at Good Vibrations and can't wait to return.
Wow, what a wonderful place to relax! This gorgeous home has it all and won't disappoint. Blissful, comfortable, very clean and location is perfect! Who needs a car! This was such a great place. There will be "next times" here. Beach, walking , biking, pool, shops, and restaurants all in a unique area that is friendly and quaint.
Good Vibrations was a wonderful stay for our reunion. The area is beautiful, and we could walk to great restaurants, pool, beach, shops, etc. Such a cute cottage. Beds were wonderful--got the best night's sleep. Setup was great for our group -- lots of room, lots of bathrooms. We had everything we needed and felt very pampered. HIGHLY recommend staying here as I want to again. I especially loved the outdoor spaces for morning coffee and evening chats.
We stayed at Good Vibrations last year with my in-laws and it was so wonderful we talked our close family friends into renting it with us again this year! We had (2) 5 year olds and (2) 2 year olds with us and this house is absolutely perfect! The updates to the decor made the house even more lovely then before. I also really appreciate the 2 master bedrooms so it didn't feel like one family was getting the short end of the stick. The kids LOVED the 3rd floor area but the one thing I would suggest is doing black-out curtains/shades up there as it gets bright very early in the morning. We biked a ton and love that it is so close to the little shopping/dining area. We also took full advantage of the enormous community pool! We will absolutely be back and will probably come with the same friends again next year as we have converted them to true 30A fans!
My family of 7 (including a two year old) stayed at this lovely retreat. There was no stone left unturned in this spacious house~ from the beautiful beach decor to the posh beds~we fell in love with it all! The kitchen was well stocked with all cooking utensils. We ate in most nights and biked to the center square for music and shopping afterwards. There was something to do everyday and only a bike ride away! Lou, the property manager was great and just a phone call away. The only complaint I had was the time flew by so fast. Already thinking about next year...
Located between Destin and Panama City, Florida, the seaside villages of Scenic 30A are surrounded by state parks, forests and preserves.
