Small Town Living!
Great place to stay! Home felt like we WERE home! Wonderful hosts who provided the little touches which make you feel welcome. A nice place to stay and explore Texas history and cowboy culture. Yee haw!
My family and I stayed at the cottage while we were attending a wedding nearby. The property was very clean and the owners had delicious cookies all ready to greet us! Bandera's main street with it's fun shops, restaurants and bars is a 3 minute walk away. I recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing stay!
We had a great time in Bandera. It's only a small town but it feels like it's the real heart of Texas.
The house is a traditional cottage with 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and plenty of space in the other living areas. All are beautifully presented and there were some nice touches such as a bowl of cookies and some food left in the fridge.
This is a quiet spot but it's within easy reach of all the fun - it's just 3 blocks from the main street, and 2 blocks away is the wonderful 11th Street Cowboy Bar.
The only downside is the lack of wifi, but this was available for free in the library of Main Street.
Was everything we expected!
Had a wonderful time! Location was great and cottage was very clean and comfortable! Would definitely book it again!
Great Weekend, We will be back!!!
It was a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed watching the parade from the porch.
The location is perfect. A historical house with exquisite updates. We had four people and the bedrooms and baths were spacious. It is evident much thought went into the renovation to include plugs for devices bedside. Linens were top-notch and beds very comfortable. Porch sitting was great!!
Great place to stay! Perfect location. The owners were very generous with all the amenities. Very clean and nice comfortable beds. Will definitely stay there again!
The Bandera Bluebonnet Cottage is located one block from the Bandera City Park. The cypress lined Medina River flows through this beautiful sprawling park. Picnicking, swimming, tubing and kayaking are common activities that you can enjoy. We will provide some treats that you can feed to the local wildlife that inhabit the park.
There are historical horseback riding tours of Bandera that will wind you through the city. Or you may choose to take the horse drawn covered wagon tour. Either one will surely make a special memory of your trip.
If you are visiting during an event weekend in which there is a parade, the parade participants will line up and begin their procession on the same street that the Bandera Bluebonnet Cottage is located! So all you have to do is face your rocking chair towards the road and watch from the comfort of our front porch!
