Fantastic Hideaway

  • 5 of 5

Where to start??? What a lovely place to stay, made even more special by the snow falling. Breakfast watching the various birds feeding and the odd pheasant dashing across the grass. Nicky and Nick were very welcoming and helpful. The Granary had everything for our snowbound stay...simply perfect!

Owner's Response: Considering the eventful weather event during Gary’s stay, I am very grateful to him for being so understanding about where to leave cars to avoid being snowed in! Do hope that they will return to enjoy more of what Shropshire has to offer in hopefully warmer weather next time.

Superb Stay Dec 28th 2017 - 2nd Jan 2018

  • 5 of 5

What a fantastic place to stay! - Me & My husband has such an amazing stay away over Christmas and New Year period. The barn conversion is fabulous and attention to detail and comfort has all been very well thought out and catered for - the owners couldn't do enough for you! The seclusion of the barn is ideal for us - very quiet, whilst watching the bird life from your kitchen table. We were very blessed with wonderful weather during our stay & did 3 long sunny walks whilst there - one was literally from our door step to the Long Mynd. We were very sorry to leave and will definitely be back - many thanks to Jamie, Nick and Nicky!

Great location and warm welcome

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a few days as part of the celebrations for my daughter's 10th birthday.

We all had a wonderful time and thought the property was perfect for our stay.

The location is ideal with numerous museums and historical sites close by.

Shrewsbury provided the bright lights and shops and restaurants.

Our hosts were generous and welcoming. We would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Really Lovely Holiday

  • 5 of 5

Such a lovely relaxing peaceful stay. Really beautiful views and excellent country walks. Thank you to our wonderful hosts who made us feel very welcomed. The accommodation was a home from home, I was sad to leave. We loved it so much we have rebooked for next year. Thank you for the bread eggs and milk on arrival - plus the bottle of fuzz which was very welcomed.A highly recommended holiday.

Fantastic week away

  • 5 of 5

Had a great week away at the Granary. The accommodation is of an extremely high standard and everything you need is provided. The area is extremely peaceful and was the much needed break needed! Superb WiFi speed for such a remote area meant could keep on top of work chores. The hosts Nick and Nicky are always on hand should anything be required but equally give you your privacy. We will certainly be back! Thank you Nick and Nicky for allowing us to stay.
