Madeira Beach Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

This water-front condo is filled with fun beach decor. From Palm leaf paddle fans and exotic, quality art pieces to impressive ocean shell collections. It's definitely no place like home. You'll enjoy an elegant Master Suite with a quality king size bed, a private bath and walk-in closet. The kitchen is fully equipped, whether you choose to cook a full Thanksgiving meal (Turkey not included), or mix your favorite Island drink, everything is here. The balcony is equipped with patio furniture and a beach box with beach accessories.

Madeira Norte is certainly among the best building locations on the Island. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico and the Intercostal Waterway. Beautiful by day or night. This is a Top floor unit with an unobstructed view of the beach and intercostal water.

The anticipation of catching just a glimpse of playful dolphins is expected while at Madeira Beach, and you likely won’t be disappointed.

If there are any required family gatherings, it should be each evening at the waters edge for the sunset. There stunning! Each one different. Some powerful, some gentle… don’t forget your camera.

Look what's across the street - 'Johns Pass' a famous village & board walk loaded with quaint shops and plenty of seaside restaurants. 'Bubba Gump Shrimp' house with out door Tiki Bar and "The Hut" are favorites. The Pass also offers fishing, boating, Jet Ski rentals, para-sailing many more water excursions in the Gulf of Mexico.

Our condo at Madeira Norte is a place we hope you'll learn to love as your choice vacation destination.

About Ron and Suzie Duff

We live in the Midwest, in Springfield Illinois. We are both Real Estate Brokers by Trade and have always loved the beach.

we try to create a fun experience and provide everything you need to make this your home away from home. Many families return year after year. We hope you will too.

Ron and Suzie Duff purchased this condo in 2004

Why Ron and Suzie Duff chose Florida Central Gulf Coast

Owning a beach condo has always been a dream of ours. We had two basic criteria. (1) It must be on the water. ( 2) It must be in an area that offered amenities. Johns Pass is an amazing area and has not disappointed us or any of our guest..

What makes this condo unique

Certainly Johns Pass is the areas biggest attraction. Restaurants, Night Clubs, Shopping, about any Water Activity you can imagine. The Dolphins and white sand just make this a great place.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay the best experience possible. Remember to reserve your stay for next year BEFORE you leave to insure availability.

Madeira Beach in October is great. No humidity. Low 80s. Warm gulf water. This is a great time to go

The property is in very good condition in a safe and quiet condominium up on the top floor. The balcony faces south or southwest and has a good view of both the Gulf and John's Pass. You can walk across the street and find good dining and beverages including a micro brewery/pub. Major shopping all within 2 miles easy drive. There is a seafood fest in John's Pass around Halloween.

Amazing place and and amazing vacation

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in room 507 from June 18th until June 25th with my daughters for Fathers Day and a much needed vacation. The room was vey clean and well maintained . Everything we needed for all activities from cooking to beach fun was right there in the room. The beach itself was wonderful and the water was tranquil and relaxing. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for an excellent vacation get away.

We enjoyed our stay at Ron's condo. If you're looking for a place that's close to shopping, eating, pubbing and swimming, this is the place to be. All this and great views!! Upon arrival we noticed that the condo had not been cleaned (oversight). We called Ron who had the issue resolved within a couple of hours and he reimbursed our cleaning fee, on the spot. Condo had everything we required and it was handy having the washer & dryer right in the unit. Sitting by the pool was nice as the other tenants (returnee's) were all very friendly and knowledgeable about where the best restaurants and deals are. We enjoyed our walks on the beach, through John's Pass and through the neighbourhood where you could get a glimpse of houses with their yachts. We would come back but have already made plans for next year. Thanks Ron.

Not Satisfied

There were three of us ladies staying here ages from 61-76 and we found the view exceptional. However, having said that, we had three encounters with cockroaches which Ron denied as Palmetto bugs( which are American cockroaches). We felt as being female, he was undermining our intelligence. We were also bothered by contractors who wanted to come in and work on the patio during our stay, in which we thought as we were paying for a vacation this sort of thing should be done at a later date, but after speaking with Ron, we agreed as he said he was going to be charged if anything were to happen in the future, we later found out that that wasn't the truth at all! Again, we were undermined, and to add insult

to the wound, we hauled the patio furniture, Twice into the small condo , only to find out that the company wasn't doing our condo after all. The carpets were extremely Filthy. The smaller bedroom had his personal stuff in the closet, making the double closet only one sided, small!

The bed wasn't comfortable, it squeaked with every move, the ceiling fan was really noisey, the ceiling above the fan and in the corners were dusty! The master bedroom had a walkin closet, but there was a cabinet I. There that was locked which took up a lot of the room. Again, the ceiling was dusty, and the blond had one vertical which was broken and on the floor when we arrived, and another one kept falling down. The patio furniture was ok, but there was a broken chair I. The corner, and the beach chairs were so Sandy and musty from being put away wet, that we did t bother with them, so we had to rent the chairs on the beach. The beach chairs were the low seating ones, which, at our age , we would have had to roll out of them , he reall needs to upgrade for his clientele!

The kitchen wasn't as well stocked as hoped. Absolutely nothing was left over for us! , except a few spices. We arrived late and were hopi g to have at least a cup of tea, but to no avail, not even a kettle to boil water, nor a tea bag, but one would think if he was renting as much as he claims he does, that something would be left over from the prior group, as we left, Stefan wrap, foil, laundry soap, coffee, etc, etc.

The frying pans were a disgrace! We hated to cook in them, but we really washed them well, and hoped for the best.

The coffee perc had an oder, which we found to be the water. There was a purifier, but I'm not sure how good the filter was, as there was a taste as well.the palm tr

Owner's Response: I'm sorry but I found these ladies very difficult to please. Their first complaint was that there was not a tea kettle. So I hired someone to go out and buy one. They complained about a 12 inch by 24" owners cabinet in a 4 foot by 5' walk-in closet. I'm not sure what to say about that. They noticed palmetto bugs in the condo. I called immediately and scheduled pest service. I pay to have my condo treated for pest every other month but had no problem sending them out again. As far as the balcony work They needed to apply sealant), I had no control over that. When I called the management company to ask why I was not notified, they mentioned the initial work was done over a year ago but soon after, learned that a few balcony's needed redone (apparently, mine was among them). They explained that it was very difficult getting them to come back and complete the work. They inadvertently called the management company one day and said we will be there in the next few days to finish the work... hence the last minute notice to me. The ladies refused access until I explained I had no choice unless I wanted to waive my warranty on the balcony work. I offered a discount to them and they seemed satisfied. To my surprise and dismay, I later read this rating of "dissatisfied". If you look back on all my reviews, the only negative comments I received are related to construction/maintenance of the building. A very difficult thing for all owners of our complex to manage with incoming tenants.
