Come stay downtown with us in lovely Snowcreek Suites, a modern and high-end Townhouse with many amenities. This 2 bedroom unit is the latest addition to our larger upstairs condo. The space has been an art gallery and yoga studio in the past, so the great room is great! Amazing gallery style lighting, open beams, gorgeous beech hardwood floors, kitchenette, leather furniture, tiled bath and plenty of space to stretch out--1200 square feet! There's a bar for mixing drinks and a window by the kitchen table to drink your coffee in the morning. Please note that the second 'bedroom' is only semi-private--it is in the same space as the great-room/common room and the walls only go up 6'.

Step outside and you are a scenic 2 minute walk to downtown and shopping. Octoberfest is across the street, and the best beach in town is one block south and onto the beautiful grounds of the Wenatchee River Institute, where Birdfest takes place every spring.

If you ski or snowshoe, you are in luck! We are 45 minutes from both Stevens Pass and Mission Ridge alpine resorts, or if nordic or cross country is more your speed, you can WALK to the groomed trails, which start at the Wenatchee River Institute 1 block south. The kids always enjoy skiing and/or tubing at the charming skihill, a 5 minute drive to 2 rope tows and a special tubing tow and Leavenworth's famous Skihill Lodge, a 1940s era CCC project with a huge stone fireplace, hot drinks and good food.

This townhouse is unique in that it enjoys everything the downtown core offers without being smack in the middle of it, which means it stays quiet at night. It's just on the edge of the action. Groceries and the liquor store are just a few blocks away. Come relax and experience our wonderful town, or stretch out and watch a movie on our large flatscreen LED TV, BluRay and cable included!

If you have a party larger than that, rent both units--there's a common door between the two which can be opened for a party or closed for privacy. We are a small family who live in Wenatchee. We love it here and want to share it with you. We are hikers, skiers, bikers, swimmers and are busy busy raising kids.

To help us manage our lovely home, we have retained the Obertal Inn on Leavenworth as our agent. The Obertal Inn staff is super friendly and very capable and they will be able to assist you with all your questions

Why Hans Mulders chose Central Cascade Mountains

Leavenworth is a unique town in a beautiful setting. You only have to look around to realize you are really in nature. We have world class rock and alpine climbing in our back yard, a healthy salmon run every year that happens in our very own Wenatchee River, two ski areas within 40 minutes and a multitude of other attractions; there's something for everyone. Leavenworth is also unique in that it is a destination where you have incredible access to nature and the great outdoors. This is why people come back, year after year. The town itself is fun, of course, and all the festivals and celebrations are great, but we are surrounded by gorgeous snow-capped mountains and crystal clear water in our rivers and streams. I think this is why people keep returning; they are fed by this connection with the wildness of the area.

What makes this townhome unique

Our property is unique in that it's right downtown without being right in the middle of it. Sometimes it's nice to stay right downtown in a big city, right on the main street. We are two blocks away from all the shops and restaurants, a healthy distance from the noise and all the traffic. We have lots of off-street parking too. The Townhouse itself was designed by a well known local architect who currently sits on the Leavenworth city council and has designed many buildings in the downtown area. It was built by a premier Norwegian craftsman builder in the area in 2002. It's modern, efficient, very well built and very safe. It features the Bavarian architecture Leavenworth is so famous for. Of particular appeal are the landscaping, the fine finish materials used throughout the building and in particular, the different moods that can be set using the gallery style lighting in the Townhouse. Though the front of the building is on a main street, there is private-feeling outdoor seating due to the well-placed landscaping and mature trees.

Great space, location...

TONS of space and great for entertaining large groups. Close to downtown was a great plus. Heard a lot of sound from renters above( kids running around at 5:55am..) had dedicated parking spot behind unit. Had some confusion with checking in and had to walk a block and a half to get to a hotel that gave us a key and then walk back.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you had an enjoyable stay in our town house. We are so sorry for the noise from kids running around upstairs. We try to be very sensitive and always let guests that rent the upstairs unit know that there are guests below them. We apologize for the confusion about where to check in. We handle all check-ins at the Obertal Inn at 92 Commercial Street. The hotel is about a block and a half from the town house, as you indicated. Great location for this nice Townhouse

My mom had wanted to see the Lighting Ceremony. I checked for availability last year, but you need to book about a year in advance, so I reserved the upper and lower units at this gorgeous townhouse for this December. The lower unit was perfect for my stairs, they had their own bedroom & bathroom. There is an adjoining privacy door that can be closed if you are renting only one unit. The door between the two units stayed open the whole time for my family to visit each other in either unit.

We had a few MINOR issues (Wi-Fi was unplugged in the lower unit modem), no pot holders in the kitchen, and someone parked in our parking area in the back private parking our first night, but EVERYTHING was dealt with quickly, professionally and to our satisfaction.

This has a very nice layout. Great kitchen, there is a washer and dryer if needed to clean and dry wet clothing from either summer river runs or winter snow. The jets in the upstairs bathroom did not work, but the hot tub was used to warm up after being out in the cold for the Lighting parade. We also couldn't find a remote for the tv upstairs.

The property was very clean & had plenty of towels and supplies (TP, dish & laundry soap) for our 2 night stay.

We needed some extra assistance (with wheelchair rental for Saturday's Lighting parade) that the crew at Obertal took care of on their end before we left home. We were able to get the rental chair close to our check-in time. We really appreciated Hans and his staff for all their hard work. There were many last minute questions that my family and I had that were answers quickly and always politely.

We brought some firewood for the little wood stove that is in the main area. I didn't see any kindling or wood in the garage or outside for other renters use, but there might be some somewhere.

We parked our cars on Friday and didn't need them until we left on Sunday. You are so close to the downtown area that you walk everywhere, whether it is for shopping, restaurants or sightseeing. We brought our own groceries and cooked our meals at the townhouse. But Safeway is located across the bridge maybe a mile away.

Both units were plenty large enough for the 8 of us. There is a sizable family room upstairs, a nice sized area downstairs near the huge kitchen area and the lower unit is VERY spacious. You could easily have more people at these units and be comfortable in the space.

Great stay, Great location!

The condo was wonderful, very nicely updated and new, and in the heart of everything, just minutes to walk to town. The kitchen was stove or dishwasher but we made do very nicely using their hot plate and microwave for cooking. Very clean, great amenities (they even had shampoo and conditioner which was great because I forgot to pack ours!). They had wi-fi, a shelf of games, nice furniture, a parking space included. I would highly recommend this condo for your next stay in Leavenworth!

Fantastic open space

The condo was perfect. Had an awesome open space and a fairly comfortable bed. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, minus some spices/olive oil but since we didn't really plan on cooking there, it was perfect. Great location as well! Would definitely stay again.

My two friends and I had a wonderful experince stayng at Zach's propery. Due to an error by Expedia the hotel room we had originally booked at the Obertal Inn turned out to not be available and the owner of the hotel Hans referred us to this property and negotiated for us the same price we were supposed to have. Needless to say this saved the trip and we were very grateful to both Hans ans Zach for their assiatance and professionalism. This property is as nice as the pictures show. Beautifully remodeled, very clean and comfortable and with all the amenities one can hope for including a small refriferator, toaster oven, coffee maker, sink and kitcken utensiles. We alao loved the outdoor picnic table outside the fromt door with view of the mountains. Lovely place! We had a great time and we will be back!

Beautiful, immaculate, comfortable, perfect locati

Our family of 4 unexpectedly ended up here for a weekend - and we loved it. It was immaculate, extremely clean. Design was open, airy, very spacious with lots of light, beautiful wood floors, simple elegant furnishings, felt like we were entering a little oasis. Beds were very comfortable. Master bedroom also included a full vanity cabinet with sink (in addition to bathroom sink) - very nice. Location also couldn't be more perfect: 5 minutes' walk to river, 5 minutes' walk to be in the center of downtown. Street itself was very quiet. Some prior reviewers mentioned that it would be nice to have a floor length curtain or door for the second bedroom -- we agree but doesn't take away from five-star rating! We also could hear guests in unit above (mentioned by prior reviewers) -- but sounds were muted and we would still rate this place and unreserved 5 start. Temperature was perfectly controlled. We were very happy and would highly recommend!!
