The property is located on a beautiful tree lined street filled with character homes. Walking distance to great shopping, schools, international cuisine, theater, recreation and parks including Queen Elizabeth Park and Hillcrest Community Centre, home of the 2010 Winter Olympic and Para Olympic Games.
Everything is easily accessible with direct links by Canada Line or bus to downtown Vancouver or UBC.

We spent very good time down town Vancouver for the week from 15th to 22nd of Aug.We thank a lot Helene and Phelipe for their kind hospitality,they are the perfect Hosts.The house is very well placed close by king Edward metro station and a lots of pubs and restsurant are close by the house.We didn' t need to rent a car for the period we spent there and we could move using Metro and busses.We had to catch the flight very early so we didn't have the chance to say good bye to our Hosts. We'll recomend Helene Imperial to anyone who wants to spend good time here in Vancouver.
If you would like to "live like a local" in a cute and convenient neighborhood of Vancouver, I highly recommend the Garden Cottage. My husband and I were guests here for 8 nights and really enjoyed it. The kitchen was very well equipped, the bed comfortable, the living room area set up well and the decor very tasteful. Our hosts were more than helpful and available to answer all of our questions. We found organic groceries just a few blocks away and ate at a couple of the neighborhood restaurants after touring the city. A walk to nearby Queen Elizabeth Park and lunch at Seasons in the Park was fun. Close to transportation as well.
The cottage was adorable, spacious for our needs, well equipped, and very comfortable for two people. The cottage was very clean, the owners were very accommodating. We loved our stay and highly recommend!
My husband and I truly enjoyed our home away from home at The Garden Cottage. The Cottage is beautifully decorated and is very comfortable. Our hosts were gracious and friendly. We appreciated the welcome note and the added little treats left to welcome us. The kitchen was very well equipped. We found that the locations was very centrally located for all our daily excursions. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Vancouver and our stay at the Garden Cottage.
We loved our trip to Vancouver. This Cottage was nicely located only 10 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from downtown Vancouver, 1/2 hour from the mountains, 1/2 hour from Richmond Island. (Whale Watching was great) It was a 5 minute walk from lovely Queen Elizabeth Park. Cambie Village is an up and coming neighborhood. We walked to mainstreet (5 minutes) for breakfast or dinner several days.
The Cottage and the owners were fantastic. Helene and Phillip were always available if we had any problems or questions. Very relaxing. It was nice to have a full kitchen and nearby grocery stores. The cottage is nicely decorated while still being very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. Its nice to have a washer/dryer in the unit - however it takes a long time to run.
