The cottage was comfortable & cozy.

  • 5 of 5

Jamie and Josh have a comfortable place to stay. The kitchen had everything imaginable for us to use. We felt very welcomed by them. They made our trip special. Historic Washington State Park is a one of a kind experience. We hope to come back for a relaxing stay & to visit more of the places.

It was a wonderful home away from home!

  • 5 of 5

Staying in Grace Cottage was like balm for the soul of this transplanted Arkansas girl! I spent as much time on the porches as I could get away with. The Williams are lovely hosts who provided surprising little touches to make us feel welcome. The cottage was extremely clean and conveniently appointed with everything one would need to be at home.

Thank you Grace Cottage!!!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you Grace Cottage! Planned a trip to the diamond mines but my family and I can say the Cottage and your hospitality and care for your home and the History of the home provided hours of conversations for our family especially my son. He loved your rooster by the way and the history of the town. The weapons museum, blacksmith and print shops were awesome and even got to make a candle at the candle shop. Never heard of Washington Arkansas but but honestly say I’d love to come back.

Thank you again!

Highly recommended!!!!

Peaceful and Cozy!

  • 5 of 5

We arrived (later than we planned), feeling road weary and a little intimidated at the remote location.

Imagine our relief when we pulled up to a warm and lovely historic home where they had literally 'left the light on for us.'

If there is one word for Grace Cottage, it is "thoughtful."

Josh and Jaimie have put tremendous thought and love into this cottage, from the comfortable beds to the ample supply of large soft towels to the well appointed kitchen. The underlying theme is: you are our guests and we want you to be comfortable.

Homemade banana bread was on the table and a note on the board welcoming us.

And what a peaceful setting!!

We walked all over the historic area, petted the resident horses, and looked at beautiful homes.. all in complete peace and privacy.

Jonquils were blooming in such abundance all over town that you smelled them immediately upon going outside. What an amazing break from the city!

The only slight negative is a neighboring rooster who takes special pride in his job of heralding the day. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to choose the front bedroom.

And yet, his early morning greeting reminds you that you are in the country. And napping later is allowed.

The cottage was precious and like a trip back in time. The cinnamon rolls were a real treat. The bed was small but sort of fun too!
