Short walking distance to Ciboure and St Jean de Luz (small hill back) Sunny garden . Welcoming hostess.
Try the seeafood
Jean de lux is an old costal town. Plenty of things to do. Good seafood but expensive.
The apartment is as good as you will get for the money. It has the bonus of a happy friendly owner.
A relaxing holiday. It can be difficult finding your way around the town.
Great little apartment
Elaine was a great host - very helpful but not intrusive. Apartment is well equipped and comfortable. 15 minutes walk to great choice of restaurants. Supermarket (with great take away meals - freshly cooked), boulangerie, pharmacie and bar just a few minutes walk away. Very good base to explore Biarritz, San Sebastien and great beach at Hendaye. Would definitely recommend this property for a couple. Colin & Yvonne.
Many guests find the nearby SPAR supermarket very convenient and their freshly cooked dishes are very popular, as mentioned by Colin and Yvonne. Those guests arriving by car very often leave it untouched during most of the holiday and choose to get around on foot or by using public transport as it's an easy walk to the beach and town centre and there is a good local bus service. Biarritz airport is just 20 minutes away and can be accessed by bus or taxi service so numerous guests decide to leave their car at home.
Lovely apartment, great place!
We had a lovely time in this apartment, the bed was so comfy and the sea breeze kept the bedroom nice and cool and it was quiet enough with the window open. Great facilities, lovely helpful owner. It was a nice walk into the town/beach. Would stay here again.

The perfect place for enjoying St Jean de Luz.
The property contained everything that we needed for an enjoyable stay.Five minutes walk in the morning for Croissants and ten minutes into St Jean de Luz.
Charming and convenient apartment
This was a great little apartment to explore the Basque country. We had never been to this part of France before and Elaine was more than helpful with recommendations and instructions to get to places.
The apartment is clean and comfortable and has everything you need for a week's holiday. The local shopping centre in walking distance. My husband loved the bakery and the supermarket had ready-made meals that were very handy when we were home from a day's wandering. The sun courtyard was great for lounging or drying the clothes and the bedroom was always cool and comfortable with the sea breeze.
St Jean-de-Luz is a wonderful place to enjoy the beach or just wander around there is so much to see. We took drives in the Basque villages and popped over to Spain for a day to visit San Sebastien. There are lots of great restaurants, we ate lunch on the boardwalk in St Jean-de-Luz and at a Tapas bar in San Sebastien.
I would happily recommend this property to a friend or relative and thank Elaine for her wonderful customer service.
