The Heisey Family
Why The Heisey Family chose Ocean City
My grandparents purchased the front and rear units at 330 Ocean Ave. in the 1960s, so our family has been vacationing at Ocean City, NJ for quite some time. When it was decided they wanted to sell them in the '90s, my father, Paul, couldn't pass up the opportunity to buy the rear cottages, so his family could continue to have a place to stay each summer at a beach setting we enjoy so much. My mother and I now handle the cottage rentals since my father is unable to. It's a way of helping to continue to give him the Ocean City retreat he's enjoyed for so long. // Josh (Paul Heisey's son)

Cute and comfortable
Prefect for a couple for a beach week!
Good location, convenient to the Boardwalk.
Quiet setting but unit is small and in need of some updating.
The square footage of the cottage has always been listed on the property listing, so guests should know the size in advance. The property title has “vintage” in it, so guests should know from that description and the photos that the cottage has some antiques mixed with modern conveniences.
Fully equipped cottage suitable for two - nice location in historic neighborhood
Very quiet at night as the cottage sits in back. Everything - stove, fridge, bathroom was nice and clean. On street parking can be a challenge. We quickly learned to walk where we needed to go and rented bikes for a day near the boardwalk. Very quiet neighborhood with well kept homes. Nice beach within 3 block walking distance. Really enjoyed the privacy and also the central air conditioning in August! Would stay here again.
cute, reasonably priced cottage
We traveled with our 2yr old. We were concerned the place might be too tight but for the price we gave it a shot. The owner was very responsive and answered our questions prior to booking—most important one being, would a pack & play fit in the bedroom. It did and we were able to enjoy our first family vacation at the beach without breaking the bank. We would recommend this place to friends!
It was perfect for my husband and myself.
We had a full kitchen and a comfy bed. Living room was perfect to watch TV the night of the storm. It was clean when we arrived. We were very happy with it over all.
We are a very short drive to Atlantic City, Wildwood and Cape May. Cape May has a wonderful zoo and Victorian architecture throughout the town. There are trips for dolphin watching, fishing and parasailing.
