In the heart of old Paris, the apartment is in a charming short and narrow street just off the rue St. Honoré.

Towering over the area in the 16th century Eglise St. Eustache housing the largest organ in Europe.

We've just returned from a magical 8 days in Paris and part of our good fortune was to have found this vacation rental. One cannot say enough about the suitability and convenient location of this apartment. It is so well appointed and wants for nothing. It was presented in first class order and our congenial host had treats waiting for us. It's location was superb! We loved the neighbourhood (mostly locals) with markets, grocery stores and upbeat restaurants. It was an easy walk to the Louvre and the metro, allowing visitors to see all that Paris has to offer. We highly recommend this apartment.
If you read the other reviews then what I have to say mirrors all the other excellent reviews. This is a great location on a quiet street (quiet for being in the center of Paris). The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen were beautifully remodeled to give you all the charm of the rest of the apartment with modern appliances and conveniences. The internet worked great and there was good cell service as well as use of a phone in the apartment. Our stay exceeded our expectations and I agree with other reviewers that the pictures do not do it justice. Ray is also a perfect host and he left us some nice goodies upon arrival. There is a great market right around the corner where you can buy almost anything you would need. The subway station is also right around the block. It is an easy walk to the Louvre and there are many nice shops of all different kinds all within walking distance. This is the perfect location owned by the perfect host who keeps the apartment and furnishings perfectly kept. You can't do better than this and I would suggest that you do not look further even if it is a little more than your budget as the space is just perfect in every way.
I stayed at this apartment for a week in June and could not be more pleased with my lodging. The pictures do not do justice to its layout or furnishings - it is a very comfortable place to relax, to prepare for a day roaming around the city, or to cook and dine in. I like to make my own meals and was thrilled with the kitchen, which is equipped with all of the appliances, utensils, pot, pans, and dishes I needed. However, as nice as the apartment is, I was there to enjoy Paris - and that is another aspect in which this apartment excels. It is in a genuine neighborhood, surrounded by the kinds of shops you expect to find in an area where people actually live - rather than the wall-to-wall T-shirt and knick-knack shops, I found grocery stores, a couple pharmacies, several small restaurants, and even an appliance store. Plus, there were local residents who made the area FEEL like a neighborhood. Venturing a bit further, I found myself just a couple blocks from the Louvre and the River Seine, as well as several Metro stations that could take you anywhere in the city. I strongly recommend this place for anybody who wants to feel at home while living in the center of one of the most beautiful cities on the planet.
I can highly recommend this apartment. Have stayed here before and it is always a delight. It's location is perfect and Ray is always extremely helpful.
Our family of 4 stayed in this lovely apartment for 6 nights in May 2013. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we could possibly need. Ray met us as arranged outside the apartment and was the perfect gentleman - very polite, helpful and accommodating. The apartment is very centrally located, close to the Louvre, restaurants and Metro. There are 2 flights of stairs to reach the apartment so it would not suit elderly people or those with a disability. Getting our suitcases up and down was a challenge but it was worth it. The apartment is above a restaurant and a nightclub/bar is a little way down the street so it got quite noisy most nights so people need to think of that also. It didn't really bother us but it may bother others. Overally, a lovely stay.
The Louvre is only a few minutes walk in one direction - the Pompidou Centre and the Marais in another. The famous food-shopping street Rue Montorgeuil ( a remnant of Les Halles) is very close by.
