This cute, three-bedroom vacation rental with room for six is located near scenic and tranquil Donnelly. Surprisingly spacious and totally comfortable, its cozy living area is brimming with soft-pillowed chairs, a charming faux (gas) wood stove, and many other amenities you'll welcome on a stormy night. Just six miles to Tamarack, three to Donnelly, and 15 to McCall, you'll be ideally situated to enjoy all the seasonal activities available in the Lake Cascade area.
With beautiful dark wood floors and country style furniture, this is a friendly and cozy space that's perfect to come home to after a day out on the lake. Grab one of the board games from under the coffee table and unwind before dinner, or enjoy a movie on the DVD or BluRay. There's also cable TV (a limited package, and please note no Internet access is available), but now could be a perfect time to start reading that novel. Kick back and listen to some music on the sound dock. On warm summer nights, bring the marshmallows and the guitar out to the fire pit.
Your cook will appreciate this fully equipped kitchen. With a soft colorful rug to stand on while prepping, there's a big stainless steel fridge, stove, microwave, and dishwasher. There's a coffee grinder too, so bring a bag of your favorite joe. Four can gather around the little wooden table, enjoy the meal, and make plans for the next day. On a summer's day, you can click on the gas grill and have a barbeque. If you don't feel like cooking, there are a few restaurants in Donnelly. For more choices, make the 15-minute drive up to McCall where you'll have many more eateries to choose from.
S.S. Tetrad has three bedrooms. One, on the main floor, has a queen-size bed with log frame. Upstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms. In the first is a full-sized bed and, in the other, two twin beds. Down on the main floor is a full bathroom with a shower and a hair dryer for your use. Though there's no washer and dryer in the home, there are two Laundromats up in McCall if you can't wait until you get home.
If you're a boat owner, you'll love it here! Right by the shore of Lake Cascade, you'll have no trouble finding a place to launch. Float all day out on the lake, or throw a line in the water and try your luck for the resident fish. You can kayak or take a rafting trip on Payette River. Head east and experience the abundant beauty of Boise National Forest. Golfers: There are five courses within 14 miles of Donnelly. And skiers and boarders: Tamarack is the closest of four resorts where you can hit the slopes.

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Cabin was small ( especially the Bathroom) but comfortable for our 3 person family and small black lab Sonic. It worked well for us for sleeping, morning coffee and breakfast to start our day playing and visiting with our best friends in McCall.
It's quiet and cozy. We had lots of snow fall while we were there witch made the surroundings beautiful and the valley and mountains out at end of driveway were spectacular.
We had a great time, including bonfires and movies. Great price and good location. Will be back during ski season!
The cabin is adorable and very close to fishing and other water activities. I would highly recommend this location!
This was a nice place aside from the barking, neighbor dog that woke us each morning at 6:30a.m. We spent time riding our bikes, driving through Tamarac and visiting McCall.
Great little cabin. Perfect for a quick getaway that's not too far from Tamarack or McCall. Only real downfall was the neighbor has a dog that LOVES to bark! Bring your earplugs.
