I am 65 years old and have fallen in love with this Valley. I brought my children here when they were young and now one lives in the area. My grandchildren enjoy many activities which are available in this area.

I have been coming to the Roaring Fork Valley since the early 70's. I have found the gems in this Valley are the people and the small towns with character and charm. Be careful, as once you have visited this area, you will want to come back again and again!

Lovely, well appointed home situated north of Carbondale in a very private setting. Great view of Mt Sopris. Easy to access Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Carbondale (great restaurants) and El Jebel supermarkets. Highly recommend.
This was a great place for our family as a getaway. We stayed very active and every morning sitting in the hot tub watching the sunrise over the mountains was very beautiful. Just the right amount of space for all of us with a great kitchen and everything we need to make our own meals. We enjoyed the surroundings and got to see lots of wildlife. The hiking in the area was magnificent. Thanks again for having such a great place available for rental.
Is beautiful, my wife and I can't wait to comeback. Love your property
This was our second time to stay in this home. We love it! Very comfortable, all the amenities of home, great location and fantastic view! The home is clean, well maintained and owner is very much committed to making sure your stay is perfect! The deck with a view of Mt Sopris is hard to beat and the perfect place for a relaxing dinner! Love the hot tub too especially since we hike and ride everyday while we're there. Great cycling and hiking trails nearby. Carbondale is a friendly, quaint town with some great restaurants. This has become our favorite vacation spot!! Thank you Frank for opening your home!
Loved the house, very clean ,view was amazing. Frank, was very helpful with all the suggestions. The food in the near towns is excellent. My wife and I loved the drive to Aspen. Thank you frank for keeping this property in excellent conditions.

We had an amazing time at the property and couldn't be happier. I felt like the pictures did not do the place justice- Mount Sopris was even more amazing in person! Loved the quaint kitchen with blue cabinets. Had everything I needed for cookware, plates, spices, etc. The hot tub at night under the stars was a blast and we had lots of tracks to check out from various critters in the mornings. We saw mule deer, white tailed deer and owl while there. I enjoyed speaking with Frank, the owner, who was so helpful and always accessible. We had everything we needed at the house and were very comfortable. Some houses we've rented skimp on towels, blankets, etc. This house was not the case. Everything you need is there and the place was warm, inviting and felt like home. The steam shower in the bathroom was a joy after a long day too. We also enjoyed the fireplace, and the cozy nook area to watch movies with wood stove burning. The floor to ceiling windows in the living room/kitchen overlook the gorgeous view- great for eating breakfast and gazing out over the mountain. In the winter, I'd say you definitely need 4-wheel drive as the driveway is very steep. We enjoyed Village Smithy for breakfast in town and had the best blueberry corn cakes. About 10 min drive and so worth it. We were close to Snowmass and also went to T-lazy snowmobile tours at Maroon Bells (about 45 min in good weather) which was the highlight of the trip. I thought this home rental was a steal of a deal and hope to be back soon!
