Our property is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to IH 35. Its Cozy, clean 3 bed rooms 2 full bath house with double car garage.The fenced backyard provides privacy. This property sleeps 6 -8 simple setup four twin and one queen size beds. There is also 1 sofa 1 sofa sleeper. Towels and linen are present. Arrived to the house expecting something slightly more house-able than what we had come to see. First off the carpet inside this home was intolerable, almost not even livable. Two of the beds in this establishment had what looked to be previously already eaten food still in them. The head resting area in the sofa bed was tilting back towards the floor. Once trying to fold the bed back into the sofa, we were alarmed to find even more food remnants lodged inside this furniture. Vacuum cleaner that is provided for minor up keep during the stay was non functional. Kitchen floor was as well as the carpets filthy, almost like the home is never cleaned. If you needed to do any laundry whilst your stay, the dryer is almost functional. With the exception that you'll waste about 2.5-3 hours on one single load. Dishwasher that is inside kitchen still had food from the previous visitors. Ants seemed to be prevalent throughout the house, no matter where you were at. The worst thing of all was probably the state of water damage in a decent portion of this home. Water damage to the point where it makes you wonder if mold is present. All in all i would say that this establishment is very outdated and not cleaned very often! If you are still thinking about using this as your vacation home for upcoming visit after reading this. The owner proceeded to file a claim against our insurance for a cleaning of the carpets inside the house "after our stay".
My first time using HomeAway. I needed a place to stay during Formula One week (8days) for six persons. Budget is also an overriding constraint. This house seems to fit the bill. It was a right decision. There are beds enough for six plus two sofas. As per the pictures, everything was exactly as shown, no exaggeration. The house was clean, neat and tidy. The backyard was pristine, unfortunately we didn't get to use it as we were always busy at the circuit. We rented a 26 footer truck and needed to park overnight, asked Emmitt, no problem at all. My wife's only comment for improvement is " request for an additional knife to the kitchen cutlery".
The neighborhood is neat, nice and quiet, not congested at all. There are shopping and Food and Beverage outlets less than five minutes away.
We plan to stay here again as we are very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone.

This house has lots of room for a family gathering and a great barbecue pit on the back patio. The yards and shrubs are well maintained and the neighborhood is very quiet. The house has easy wifi instructions and good basic cable for sports fans. The living area is very comfortable and has plenty of seating. There is a good gas stove and oven inside and a very nice dining area. We made cup cakes for our granddaughter's first birthday and they turned out delicious and fluffy. It's a ranch style home with no stairs so it's great for folks who can't navigate steps. The central air and heat worked well and so did the washer and dryer. Suggestions would be to add a corkscrew and a few wine glasses plus some new bed linens in the Master bedroom. The owner is very accessible if you need anything. Thanks, Emmitt, see you in April. The property was in a great location, close to Austin and San Marcos attractions. Great Quiet neighborhood, with a great backyard to enjoy. There were 9 of us at one point during the week staying there with plenty of room. I would recomend a better selection of cooking utensils and pot and pans in the Kitchen. We rented a house to cook, and it made it difficult with limited tools to cook with.
This year, rather than our whole family piling in at the home of our local branch, we rented this lovely home just minutes from the grandchildren and I35. Located in a quiet neighborhood, it could hardly have been more convenient!. So many things were so easily accessible from where we were, we managed to cram in even more activities than we had originally planned to do. The Outlets, Kyle's shopping center, San Marcos, New Braunfels, Wemberly, Greune, and even San Antonio with all its attractions and delights (the Alamo,the river walk, the zoo, the transportation museum, etc.) are all within easy access. And north to Austin's museums and music, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Inner Space Caverns, the Wildflower Center, UT's campus, trains, hikind, boating, etc. are just as easy to reach.
The home was just as pictured, no unpleasant surprises.Everything was neat, clean, and new.. WiFi was active and easily accessible. Our son's little dog enjoyed the fenced in backyard.
The owner could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We were treated as guests who were old friends. Come summer, if all goes well, we are looking forward to renting this place again so we can hit the Schitterbahn in New Braunfels and enjoy the short drive out to the Salt Lick for some more of the best barbeque in the world!
We would recommmend this rental to anyone wishing to spend time in the Austin/San Antonio area taking advantage of all the sights, sounds, culture, sports and attractions to be enjoyed.
