About the property

3 Bedroom/2.5Bathroom 2200 Sqft Log Cabin In The Mountains with Stunning Views

Union Hill is a wonderful 2200 sq-ft 3 bedroom/2.5 bathroom home with a full wrap around porch. The beautiful wood cabin is located in Rising Fawn, GA, near the foothills of Lookout Mountain. The cabin is on a lot over 2 acres, in a preserve in Johnson Creek in Rising Fawn, GA. The cabin is decorated with a true classic rustic and western style! There is also a charcoal grill on the porch.

Union hill can sleep 7 people. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The TV and DVD player are located in the living room (no TVs in the bedrooms). The king master suite is located on the main level. The other 2 bedrooms (one king bed, one queen) and bathroom are located upstairs. There is also a day bed in the foyer of the upstairs. Look at the pictures and you will love what you see!

Renting the cabin gives you access to multiple fishing lakes that back up to Johnson lake. There are miles of hiking possibilities and creeks to explore. You will have access to many trails.

We are 35-40 minutes from downtown Chattanooga, the Tennessee aquarium, Rock City and Ruby Falls. We are 15 minutes Cloud Land Canyon state park and many more outdoor activities! We are 20 minutes from Mentone. We are a hour away from the Sequatchie River in Dunlap, Ga where you can canoe and ride the river.

If Union Hill is booked, we may have other possibilities, just ask for more information.

If you are interested in having a event such as a wedding or birthday or anniversary party there is a lovely Waterwheel House on the property available for rent. It has indoor and outdoor seating, a full kitchen and can accommodate large or small parties!

Please note - there is NO wifi or intenet access. Most guests get cell service and are able to access the data on their phones. The cabin is located in a peaceful and secluded area, only a short drive from the main road. It is the perfect spot to "get away from it all."

The cabin and location was beautiful

  • 5 of 5

The cabin was beautiful and very welcoming. The views amazing. Our family stayed during Christmas and we were very pleased with the amenities. It was the perfect holiday. The beds were comfortable. The cabin was cozy with the fireplace. The waterwheel house was beautiful and we were able to take some nice family photos. The owner was very nice and accommodating and we look forward to returning one day.

Clean, well appointed, and most of all, quiet. Easy to access Cloudland State Park or enjoy plenty of scenery in immediate area. We had a great stay along with 2 of our children and the family dog. If the neighbor's white dog comes around be sure and give her a belly rub, she may do a trick for you. All in all this cabin is a great value and we plan to return.

Great remote cabin

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 2 days for a swim meet in Chattanooga. We brought 2 four wheel drive SUV's so getting to the cabin was not a problem. Just be warned it is remote and the roads are rough for about 3 miles to the cabin. The trade off it is quiet with all kinds of wildlife and critters around. There is no internet but we had no problem tethering off our phones. Cabin is large for a 3 bed 2 1/2 bath. The amenities are up-to-date so once in the cabin it is just like home. Nice beds and linens. Comfortable living room and large kitchen area. A big wrap around porch which is nice. Kids had fun exploring in the surrounding woods. Just a great all around luxury cabin.

absolutely beautiful cabin. Favorite spot was back porch. Follow directions sent from owner do not use gps once you arrive to Chattanooga otherwise you will be lost. Roads are bumpy but well worth it.
