Golfing, shopping, hiking, this home has it all close by and is a stylish home that backs up directly to the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Literally step out the back gate into dozens of miles of trails or just enjoy the sunset over the mountains on the deck, in the pool, or by the fire pit. Multiple golf and shopping malls are within a 15 minute drive as well as other hiking locations. Accommodations here are everything you'd expect and more. WiFi available. It's a two level house. The main floor has 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, and a bath on one side, the living, dining and family rooms/areas in the middle, the kitchen on the opposite side, and the oversized 2 car garage off the laundry room leads to the kitchen. Health care executive. I grew up outside of Boston and have also lived in Virginia, DC, LA, Seattle, San Francisco, and Phoenix.
Eric Page purchased this house in 2009
I bought this property for the views, the access to the Phoenix Mountain Preserve, and the backyard. I love opening up the back gate and going for runs or mountain bike rides in the preserve and then jumping in the pool when I get back. The pool definitely gets chilly in the winter time but I jump in any time of year, if only briefly.
The backyard is amazing. It was beautifully landscaped when I bought the place and I did a $14K upgrade, adding a fire pit and stainless steel barbecue. I outfitted it with a 12 piece patio furniture set so that it can be enjoyed morning, day and night.
The master bedroom suite is equally good. It's probably 500 sq ft and has both a front and a back deck. The front deck is where we enjoy eating breakfasts and watching the sunrise over the city. The back deck is where we enjoy a glass of wine and watching the sunset over the mountains. It's amazing that the two views can produce such different emotions.
Very quiet, comfortable, and clean! Too chilly to enjoy pool, except for teenagers who braved it. Outside furniture comfty for reading/relaxing. Kitchen very well equipped. Overall it met our expectations and then some. We will rent again if we get back to Phoenix area.
Our family recently spent a few days in Phoenix to celebrate my 50th birthday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home. I would say its best selling points are the outdoor features. The back of the property abuts the Phoenix Mountain Preserve so the views are delightful and you can walk right out the back gate for a morning hike. The backyard is inviting with a crystal clear pool, interesting cacti and even hummingbirds in November! We grilled steaks and visited around the fire pit and found the reclining lawn chairs super comfortable.
Everything inside is excellent as well. We all agreed that our beds were comfortable and appreciated the soft sheets and towels, ample hot water, and fast Internet service. The office is set up with a computer & printer and it was handy to be able to print our boarding passes for our flight home. This home is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood and is not far from the Musical Instrument Museum which was a highlight of our visit. We had a wonderful time here and highly recommend this property!
Hi, we are a retired couple and this place is at the top of the list of places we've stayed. Our stay was much too short at this beautiful home. It felt like we were at a resort because it was so comfortable. We loved the furniture and found the kitchen had everything we needed and more. As others have said, the backyard is fantastic. We enjoyed sitting around the gas firepit at night and we didn't even need to get wood! We will definitely be back here and hopefully soon.
We had a great stay in Arizona. This house was beautiful and perfectly equipped for everything we needed. The pool was absolutely amazing and the mountain views surrounding the house were spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful -- a perfect place for relaxing and golf! Our only regret is that our stay couldn't be longer -- we're looking forward to returning again soon!
We stayed at Erics house just this past weekend. It was my second time in Arizona. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The backyard with the pool was my favorite. Really nice lounge chairs and a beautiful view of the mountain preserve. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The master bedroom was really nicely decorated. The sheets, towels, etc were really high end. I actually even reached out to ask Eric where he got them from so we can get some for our home. All in all great experience and highly recommend.
Once we arrived, everyone from my family joined us at the house. Family and friends all came to cook, eat, and swim. There was enough room for the grandkids to spend the night too. The open space behind the house was great, nice for a quick walk or hike in the early morning or late evening. We filled the hummingbird feeder and enjoyed the visits of all the birds and other native wildlife, lizards, etc. We really did not need to site see since we visit Phoenix often, we spent the majority of each day in the back yard on the porch and in the pool!
Easy in - easy out - we will definitely stay again.
Golf, spring training, and enjoying the amazing weather. Located near north of the city center so you can access anything Phoenix has to offer.
