This is our house we love to go to when we can get out of Indiana. So I will assure you it is very nice. We are renting it less and less due to all the remodeling and new furnishings. So if you are looking for quality and will take care of the place as your own, this is the place. The house has over 2000 sq ft of living space under air with additional living area outside. The palm trees make it so you don't see your neighbors and you get a private pool that no one is looking in on you. Also a private dock, long water views, walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. This contemporary open floor plan home is not too far from public beach access. It is Located right off of Collier Boulevard. The same road that you take into the island. You can walk to Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, Winn Dixie, Cocomos, CJ's and many more popular restaurants and shopping centers on this beautiful island. The home includes vaulted ceilings and a heated pool. Look out over your own personal dock as you lounge around the beautiful screened in pool surrounded by tropical palm trees.

The master has a walk in closet with an on suite bathroom that has a shower and a tub. The ceiling fan can give you a nice breeze on those hot nights and the sliding glass doors open directly to the heated pool for any late night dips or wonderful water views from your bed. The split bedroom plan gives privacy from the other two bedrooms. Twin beds are in each of the other two bedrooms. The two guest bedrooms have two bathrooms to choose from. One bathroom can be accessed from the pool area and the other is down the hall. Both have showers in them. If you have additional family members come there is a pull out couch in the family room that is private and attached to a bathroom that can be shut off from the rest of the house for added privacy or can be used as a second master with its own bathroom. It also has a separate outside entrance.
The airy vaulted ceiling in the living room makes for a wonderful open feeling. Our living room includes a LCD HD TV with DVD player. The furniture is all Tommy Bahama style furniture with that tropical feel. The dining table has a beautiful view of the pool, dock and water. The sliding doors open up to the pool and the view is fabulous from the living room over the pool and looking out on the water. Enjoy high speed wireless internet throughout the house.
If someone is watching a show in the living room and you want to watch something else, go to the family room that has a large couch and a love seat. Watch your favorite show on the HD TV in that room or let the kids play their games.
The kitchen has sliding glass doors that go out into the pool. It also has a pass through to the bar in the pool area. The granite bar surrounds the kitchen and give plenty of counter space with four bar stools that you can sit and eat at. The choices are many in the versatile home. There is a front load high efficiency washer and dryer in the utility room.
The pool area has a large gas grill and table and wicker chairs and table for your dinners by the pool. There are two wicker lounge chairs to lay around the pool or get that afternoon nap. There are two wicker chairs also off the master bedroom and another set off the kitchen. This it top notch furniture. You will not be disappointed.
There is a coconut tree out back that drops many a fresh coconut. Help yourself or take one home with you.
There are fishing poles in the closet that you can take down to the dock and catch Sheep head fish or other ocean fish off the dock.
There is also a pack-n-play in the closet and a car seat for older kids. You will find life vests and pool noodles in the closet along with other items to make your stay enjoyable. We constantly try to upgrade this house with more things, because we stay here with our family too!
Check our reviews. People love this house and you will too.
My wife and I have six kids and live in Indiana. I work as a financial consultant. Our family and our faith in Jesus is most important in our lives.
Marc and Priscilla Schultz purchased this house in 2012
We fell in love with Marco in 2003. The first time we came over the bridge. So we purchased a condo in Sandcastle, but have wanted the freedom that comes with a house. This one came on the market and had the things we were looking for. The dock, water views, pool, vaulted ceilings, space for the grand kids and a great location.
We all look forward to those wonderful sunsets and the beach environment along with a private pool, but this place also has a great location to walk to get a Starbucks or a late night Ice Cream or maybe groceries at Winn Dixie and a movie at the Red Box.
We spent a week at this house in April and returned in July with our son and his family. The moment we walked in this house it felt like home. Everything anyone could possibly want exists in this kitchen, even spoons for babies. Watching the sun come up in the morning is beautiful. The pool was terrific and very much enjoyed by our entire family. The house is very close to everything on the island. A few days after we returned to Chicago our 5 year old granddaughter asked us "when are we going back to the Marco home - I has an awesome time." We plan to visit again next year.
My daughter and her family rented this home last year and ranted and raved about it and the Gulfside of Florida so I just had to check it out for myself. When you first enter this spacious and beautiful, family friendly house you appreciate that this is someone's home and they are graciously sharing it with you. It is welcoming and feels like your home throughout your stay. All you need to bring is your clothes, toothbrush and it's time to relax and enjoy. The indoor layout is spacious and can accommodate multiple families with plenty of room to spare. The outdoor pool and patio area is enormous, catering to both sun and shade worshippers. It is fully equipped for cooking but restaurants and all other amenities are a short walk or drive away. The bikes are a great added touch and fun to explore the area by. The canal is an added bonus and kept us on our toes waiting for the dolphins to make their appearances. Check in and check out were easy and Marc and Priscilla were available immediately if we had any questions. I would highly recommend this house for your Marco Island get away and hope to stay there again in the future.
An absolutely exceptional home. Not just a house, but a home! I felt very comfortable the minute I walked through the front door. The layout of the house flows extremely well. We had 4 adults with 3 children and not once did any of us feel cramped or confined. The house is well furnished and very clean. It is completely equipped right down to all the necessary utensils, small appliances, and pots & pans that anyone would ever need. Even the shed had fishing gear and 2 bikes for our convenience. The property is located near several shopping areas, restaurants and beaches. Often, we walked to our destination rather than using a car. Sitting on the patio by the pool was always a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The view of the sunrise is breathtaking! I would highly recommend this rental for anyone wishing to have a wonderful vacation on Marco Island.
What a wonderful house! This was our second year at this home. My wife and I, our daughter and friends who rent and own here think we have found a gem. The house is well furnished, clean and well maintained with every kitchen item and incidental one could want or need. Ideally located within easy walking distance of entertainment, dining and shopping. We absolutely love this place and wish we could stay longer. The patio and pool are great as is the view down the canal. We love the remodeling and new furniture. We highly recommend this place and working with Marc and Priscilla. We will be back and can't wait until next year.
Every year my sister and I would travel with our mother to Marco Island. We normally would stay at a hotel but this year we ventured out and decided to stay at a house. It was the best decision we could make. Priscilla and Marc have such a lovely, clean and well-stocked home. The house has everything you could ask for. The three bedrooms and baths worked well for us. All the rooms were lovely in their own way. We felt so at home and hated to leave. The house is in a good location on the Island that you could walk to restaurants or stores if you wanted. The screened in patio has the heated pool, comfortable outdoor furniture and a BBQ. The view was beautiful every day. We enjoyed having breakfast outdoors and using the pass-through window from the kitchen to the patio. We barbequed by the pool as well while taking a dip. Although we did venture out to Marco Island and Naples, it was great coming back afterwards to their lovely home. We would then take a dip and relax. Priscilla and Marc were always available if we had any questions. It was a great stay and we would love to come back again. Thank you Priscilla and Marc for renting your home to us. We enjoyed every minute.
This is our 2nd year visiting Marco Island and we normally stay at hotels for vacations but decided on a house this time for Marco Island. All I can say is we will never go back to hotels again! This property was everything advertised and more. The owners were most helpful and very quick to respond. The check-in and check-out process were simple and the service they gave far exceeded our expectations.
The pool was wonderful and looks out to a great view of the canal. Our kids enjoyed their swimming daily. There is a sitting area by the pool which we used to eat breakfast everyday and a gas grill that we used to have daily bbqs. The house was immaculately clean and had everything fully stocked with essentials you need to cook from home - which we did a lot of, including condiments. It even has beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, and plenty of towels, and fishing poles. In fact, we used the fishing poles to fish off the dock and caught popular game fish such as mangrove snappers, and to our surprise.. we caught a snook! The location of this home is closely centralized to restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed our stay and we will definitely go back next summer.
This house is close to the Esplande shops that include Starbucks, Cold Stone Creamery, CJs, Mangros and many more. Winn Dixie grocery store is walking distance and across the street from Esplande shops. Tiger Tail beach is just down the road. Farmers market is walking distance from this house. The other way down the sidewalk is Joey's pizza and more restaurants. This house is in a wonderful location right off the main road as you come in. To get to it you must drive past it and U turn back to it since there are palm trees in the median.
