Million Dollar View!
Beautiful beaches, great fishing, spectacular sunsets, varieties of nearby restaurants and entertainment!
My husband and I stayed in this condo and this was the perfect spot for our 4-day getaway. The location was wonderful and quiet but you are close to everything. You are within walking distance to excellent restaurants, shops, and the beach. The views from around the property are so beautiful morning, noon, and night. You are literally steps from the pool or fishing from the deck. The condo was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. The owner was wonderful and she was ready to help in any way to make your stay enjoyable. Even the other tenants were friendly and helpful. I am so thankful to have found this place and if we ever plan another trip to Treasure Island we would definitely stay here again without a doubt. I was paranoid about renting directly through the owner but she was fantastic and my whole experience could not have been better!
My wife, myself and two kids aged 11 and 2 had a great time in this condo. The location was perfect. We could walk to treasure island in 10 minutes. The condo pool was steps away from the condo door, and the fishing deck was steps away from the pool. The pool was warm, and clean, with very little traffic. Fishing off the dock brought me Sand Perch, Trout and a Flounder. The condo unit was clean and had all the amenities needed to cook up the fish we caught. The bay waters gave us the chance to watch dolphins swim by, see Pelicans, Crabs, Cranes and other aquatic life. The people of the condo complex were very welcoming and informative about everything in the area. Things we did in the area included shopping and eating at Johns Pass, walking Treasure Island beach, eating at Caddy's beach restaurant, going on Hubbards half day fishing charter, driving to Bush Gardens (35min drive), night time walks and looking at the mansions in the area...lol. Renting the unit was an ease. I would definitely go to this exact spot again.....
This place was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. It was peaceful and relaxing which was exactly what we needed. The owner was extremely helpful with recommending places to visit or eat. The condo was in walking distance for a lot of the restaurants and bars we tried. I highly recommend Middle Grounds if you are looking for a nice place to eat, ask for the waiter we had, his name was Matt. The condo has a pool that we weren't able to use since it was cooler but I was able to lay out in a lunge chair right off the dock by the condo. It is waterfront too so each morning we got to see the water and the Pelicans as well. It was beautiful! Thanks again, if we ever visit the Clearwater area again I would love to rent this place again!
The condo provided us with a wonderful retreat. The location is perfect for those who choose to explore Treasure Island by foot, which is a short few steps across the bridge; or, if one wishes to rent a car, there is a car port for the unit. The view of the bay is spectacular morning, noon, and night! And, the resident heron who wades in the pool adds to the "beachy" feel of the complex. Plus, the heated pool is fantastic after a day of walking, dining, and shopping. I was pleasantly surprised to find so many local bistros close by, many only a ten minute walk from the condo and offering an array of choices---all very affordable. The shopping at John's Pass, only about a half-hour walk from the condo, is also amazing! And, the white sandy beaches are only a short ten minute walk from the condo. The condo itself is clean, larger than expected, and very welcoming, that is, very comfortable and accessible. Its heating/cooling units are superb. To be honest, we spent the majority of our stay out and about on Treasure Island; but, with the condo so close, we could spend the morning shopping and the afternoon at the beach without having to wear our beachwear when we left the condo in the morning. The condo is in a prime location. Plus, the amenities available (the fully equipped kitchen, the bath towels, the bedding, etc.) made for a comfortable stay.
In all, the condo was accurately described, accurately photographed, and well-maintained. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner, and I would recommend the condo to anyone looking for a retreat. We enjoyed the shopping at John's Pass: Lori's Soap and Sponge Shop is a wonderful place for little gifts, as well as Pirate's Cove on Gulf Blvd., and The Landing Co. is a very fine jewelry store; the white sandy beaches straight west of the condo; and the many local eateries and pubs: Foxy's Cafe, Gigi's, the Clock Tower Bar and Grill, the Middle Grounds Bar and Grill, Sloppy Joe's, The Floridian, Ricky T's, Jimmy B's, the Toasted Monkey, Super Scoops, etc. And, last but definitely not least, we enjoyed a couples massage and a facial at the very accommodating Paradise Salon and Spa.
We had a fantastic retreat!
