Fair living arraignments. Close to slopes. Great views.

The condo is a bit outdated. We understood that before booking. Not big concern to us. View was most important. Beds are not comfortable. There was a water leak in the ceiling from upstairs shower. I let owners know. Looks like it's been there for a while. Close to slopes wil awesome views. Most important to us. Condo on second floor, so had two flights of stairs to climb. Not a showstopper. Would prefer condo in first floor, but may take away from views. Overall we would rent again. Owners were receptive and easy to communicate with.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review Michael. I hear there was a little bit (2 feet?) of snow while you were there. We were unaware of a leak in this condo. This was the first winter rental, so the shower has not been used since September. The leak was fixed on Christmas Eve and the ceiling paint and repair (which I understand to be minimal) will be done between guests. I was also unaware that the beds are uncomfortable. This has never been mentioned by any other guest. I will check the condition of the mattresses.

Location, location!

resending this note:

Jan 11, 2015

Hi Sally,

Sorry for my tardy response! Been busy with the kids home from

school and your email got a little buried.

We found the condo to be very functional for our family's needs (4

of us---2 college kids). I don't think we could have had a better

spot for the torch parade!!! It was really cold that evening so

it was nice to be able to go out onto the porch and watch. The

location is really very nice and the pricing is terrific. We

rented equipment from Christie's and it was so easy to do

that.....I think you should have Christie's work with you for

directing folks their way! And many thanks for decent cooking

equipment!! We mostly love to make breakfast and it was easy to

do! Thanks for the plastic cups for hot tub beverages. If people

are willing to look past cosmetic issues, your condo is great. On

a minor note, we could have used a little more in the way of paper

products: tissues, toilet paper, paper towels.......or at least

have known to purchase them in advance. Thanks for everything.

We had a really nice holiday and yes, the snow was terrific!

We would book this unit again.

The amount of stairs may be difficult for some. We did not use the parking garage as we find using the transport to and from the airport easy and the shuttle to town convenient.

All the best.

Great location; comfortable accommodations

  • 5 of 5

Clean; decorated and furnished as advertised. Great little balcony for early morning views of the mountain over coffee. Main floor has plenty of places to sit and entertain; kitchen equipped with all appliances, cookware, and utensils necessary. Pull-out bed in living room was comfortable as well! For spring/summer visitors, surrounding area includes diverse walking, hiking, and biking trails, as well as access to the bus heading into town. Would return.

Great Views and Perfect Central Location

We've stayed at this complex multiple years and love the location. Big Kitchen and dining table is nice big bar height, remote control fireplace! Good set up with bedrooms above living area - gives a good sense of separation. This owner we have stayed with several times and is accommodating and very personable and has taken swift action on any issue. She is great to work with. There are several step leading to the entrance with helped acclimate me!

Good stay.

  • 4 of 5

True ski-in / ski-out. You're literally right next to the Red Lady lift. Condo is spacious and has a nice kitchen. Also, easy location to catch bus to town or around the mountain.

A couple of things to note, kitchen has bare minimum so if you cook in the evenings you will need to bring everything. Also, condo has 4 flights of stairs leading up to front door then another set of stairs to get to the bedrooms. If you are staying with older people (like my in-laws) this is difficult. Also, getting luggage and ski gear where it needs to be was a workout.

Overall Good Stay.

Owner's Response: I'm sorry if the kitchen wasn't as equipped as you would like. We have supplied the unit with a new set of pots and pans, bakeware and serving utensils. A large crock pot was also recently purchased. If you really plan to cook, please plan to bring your favorite spices and seasonings. Thank you for the suggestion!

Nicely furnished, spacious, comfortable, and you can't beat the location. True ski-in, ski-out with great views. Community hot-tub (also with great views) conveniently located and much larger than most. Had a great 3 night stay.
