After enjoying the day in the heart of Texas, come back to a Hill Country house that has a limestone exterior, cedar posts and a pleasant front porch. The house is warm and relaxing with a cozy living room, comfortable bedrooms, and a taste of Texas and Mexico seen in the decor. A mission style dining table, hardwood floors, and fireplace add to the ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped for most types of cooking. The master bedroom is large with a queen size sleigh bed, roomy walk in closet, and dresser. We have the Texas room with a queen bed, big closet and large dresser. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a large closet. The three seater couch could sleep another person for a total of 7 people. Relax in the jetted tub in the master bath or grill some steaks on the back deck under a canopy of huge Oaks.
Mi Casa Es Su Casa!
I grew up in San Antonio, currently live in Boerne, and am happy to tell you about all the wonderful places to visit while you are in town. San Antonio has so many attractions and wonderful historic places to experience. It is an easy drive from our VRBO. I love small towns and have always wanted to live in the Hill Country. I fell in love with Boerne right away and moved here 8 years ago. Boerne is small town USA at its best! The town is steeped in historic places with a German influence seen in the architecture. There are many wonderful eateries and quaint shops to choose from. This is the perfect place to shop for antiques as well. There are many lovely wineries within a 20 to 40 minute drive that offer tastings, music and tours. Christmas time is especially delightful here, as the town steps up to the plate with Main Street all decked out in lights and a charming Christmas parade! My husband, kids and I are very happy here and hope that you get to relax and see some new and interesting things! We welcome you...
Sharon Lewis purchased this house in 2009
My girlfriends and I stayed here for a much needed getaway. It had plenty of comfortable beds, towels, room to spread out and an inviting area to sit and talk until the wee hours. Sadly, we were so busy, we didn't have a chance to enjoy the lovely backyard and the porch swing in the tree. The house had everything we needed with a well-stocked kitchen, towels, extra blankets and even kleenexes in almost every room. Boerne has lots of great shops to visit. We visited the Farmers' Market and ate breakfasts at Bear Moon and Dienger's which are must dos. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. I think the only thing we found that we needed were a few ziploc bags (LOL!). Cannot complain a bit and would most certainly rebook if visiting the Boerne area again.
The house was perfect for our needs. It was close enough to Main Street for shopping and eating, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The neighborhood was awesome. Everyone was extremely friendly. We really enjoyed sitting on the backyard deck and swing. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would most definitely reserve this house if we are ever in Boerne again.
Sharon's home was very nice and CLEAN. We had everything we needed. Good layout for the family to hang out together. Great location, convenient to highway and local restaurants. Great Hostess!
We went to Boerne to attend a wedding. The house was conveniently located and in a nice quite neighborhood. The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, well maintained and nicely decorated. Sharon was a pleasure to deal with. We spent most of the weekend running the roads in preparation for the wedding so we didn't get to enjoy the house to the fullest. We found Boerne to be a charming town so hopefully we can return when we have more time to enjoy the town and Sharon's house. We will definitely stay here again. I would recommend this home to anyone traveling to Boerne.
The house was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped for our stay. The neighborhood is very safe and charming with plenty of space between the neighbors. Sharon was accommodating for our early arrival. She kept us up to date with texts and emails. I would definitely recommend this house, especially if you are in town for a wedding at Tapatio Resort.
My family (husband, college daughter and friend) stayed 2 nights to attend a wedding at Kendall plantation. This home was just perfect. It was three bedrooms. Everyone slept very comfortable. The wedding was Friday evening in Boerne so getting back to this home was very easy. The next day we were able to stroll the streets of Boerne and enjoy the many shops and then head to the river walk and then to the pearl district before returning back to our quarters in Boerne. It was only about 30 minutes from river walk and all on interstate. Would highly recommend for a stay in Boerne or San Antonio area when you need separate bedrooms and some room to spread out! The owner is very responsive to your questions.
