After enjoying the day in the heart of Texas, come back to a Hill Country house that has a limestone exterior, cedar posts and a pleasant front porch. The house is warm and relaxing with a cozy living room, comfortable bedrooms, and a taste of Texas and Mexico seen in the decor. A mission style dining table, hardwood floors, and fireplace add to the ambiance. The kitchen is fully equipped for most types of cooking. The master bedroom is large with a queen size sleigh bed, roomy walk in closet, and dresser. We have the Texas room with a queen bed, big closet and large dresser. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a large closet. The three seater couch could sleep another person for a total of 7 people. Relax in the jetted tub in the master bath or grill some steaks on the back deck under a canopy of huge Oaks.
Mi Casa Es Su Casa!
I grew up in San Antonio, currently live in Boerne, and am happy to tell you about all the wonderful places to visit while you are in town. San Antonio has so many attractions and wonderful historic places to experience. It is an easy drive from our VRBO. I love small towns and have always wanted to live in the Hill Country. I fell in love with Boerne right away and moved here 8 years ago. Boerne is small town USA at its best! The town is steeped in historic places with a German influence seen in the architecture. There are many wonderful eateries and quaint shops to choose from. This is the perfect place to shop for antiques as well. There are many lovely wineries within a 20 to 40 minute drive that offer tastings, music and tours. Christmas time is especially delightful here, as the town steps up to the plate with Main Street all decked out in lights and a charming Christmas parade! My husband, kids and I are very happy here and hope that you get to relax and see some new and interesting things! We welcome you...
Sharon Lewis purchased this house in 2009
We enjoyed our stay at this property. Sharon was very accommodating and allowed us an hour early check in and offered us a late check out. This is a family friendly home, with a nice fenced in back yard and enclosed extra room (converted garage) which my young grand kids enjoyed playing in because the weather was very cold outside. We did experience a kitchen plumbing problem, but the owners responded quickly to repair it. We also could not use the fireplace because it needed to be repaired (which had been scheduled and may be resolved). Be sure to bring your own paper goods. Also, I think a slightly nicer coffee pot would be a nice addition- the filter cup holder on the one we used doesn't close all the way and coffee takes a long time to brew).
Nothing fancy or extra, but this rental is a good value for the price.
Property is clean and well-maintained. Very user-friendly family/kitchen area. Every amenity provided such as kitchen ware, bath supplies, etc.....We would stay at this location again without hesitation. Owners are very accessible and are friendly and easy to work with.
This was exactly the experience we were looking for! It is obviois Sharon takes a lot of pride in making the house comfortable and clean for her guests.
I rented this home in order to stay over the weekend near Comfort, Tx for my son's wedding. The home was perfect, it is roomy, decorated so well, and supplied with all we needed for our weekend event. Sharon even helped us land the restaurant for our Rehearsal Dinner months before our stay. She was so helpful, gracious, and her home is truly "the perfect home". PS.We had 8 grandkids during the weekend, and the overflow garage/that is enclosed was perfect, just what we needed in a "home away from home." (the backyard is also large/roomy and beautiful as
well). Thank you for making our weekend amazing!
I have always stayed in hotels while traveling. My friend told me about VRBO so I decided to look into it. Since we were headed to a family wedding we wanted to stay near my sons and their wives. We found the perfect solution through VRBO. Staying in a home together instead of 3 separate hotel rooms allowed us more family time, a homey environment and a much cheaper price tag. The owner of the home we stayed in went above and beyond what I was expecting. She called, she allowed us to arrive early, and she greeted us and showed us around when we got there. The location was perfect and the accommodations were just what we needed. The house was fully stocked with all the comforts of home. The house and yard were very clean and well-maintained and it was better than advertised! I can't recommend it enough and I will definitely look to VRBO for my future travels. Boerne is a unique town with great shopping and very close to San Antonio - I am planning on putting together a girl's weekend just so I can go back and stay here again!
