Perfect spring break trip!
This is one of the original cabins in the community. It was warm, safe and comfortable. Tons of amenities for cooking and BBQing under the neat covered deck. Super cute and near the river walking trails. My wife and girls loved it and so did I. We would go back in a second.
Fun, quirky, quiet!
Great man cave for a weekend away with some friends. Lots of great hiking and photography opportunities nearby, and it had everything we needed for 5-6 of us. The bridge over the living area is cool (and held one of our 300 pound guests without complaining).
The only downer was that a couple of the beds weren't very comfortable. Aside from that, we had a great time.
We enjoyed our Valentine's holiday!!
The cabin is certainly old, but very comfortable. Found it odd though there were no coffee filters and you have to purchase your own firewood. The refrigerator was not clean. So needless to say we had to go the store and purchase filters and firewood. Other than that we had a nice stay. Places we have rented before always made sure we had firewood to burn. Might be a suggestion, especially if you are not from the area. May suggest a mattress topper on the back bed. We switched bedrooms and went to the front bedroom. Much more comfortable. Thank you for allowing our dog. We appreciate dog friendly places. Especially since our dog is like our chid. We would definitely rent this cabin again, just knowing we may have to purchase firewood.
We apologize for the missed refrigerator; housekeeping will make sure to get it cleaned!
Cute but chilly in winter!
Overall, we loved this rustic cabin--but you might want to bring your own space heater or some extra layers! There's no central heat, and even with the two fire places (conventional and gas) and several provided space heaters, everyone was very cold during our stay in February.
That said, it's very cute, in a great location, and has everything you need for cooking and eating, plus plenty of towels and extra blankets.
Quiet and cozy!
Old cabin with a great layout and lots of charm.
Great little cabin
Great location and comfy old cabin feel.
